One major thing I would note that isn't mentioned here, is that the Jewish mines that successfully brought down the Roman ramps at the Antonia fort had also weakened the foundations of the fortress itself, which helped the Romans breach it.
Additionally, the tunnels didn't burn the foundations of the ramps (Being that they were, well, piles of dirt essentially). Rather, the Jews dug out large caverns that were held up by wooden supports. Thus, when they set light to the wooden support, they collapsed and the whole area fell inwards like a sinkhole, and the partly-smothered flames then caught on any wood that had been on the ramps at the time.
As others have noted, it's also a little harsh on the success or lack of success of Vespasian, as well as the broadly heroic representation of one side over the other being a touch iffy. Though, of course, that's not to call the Romans heroes either, not by a long shot.

But I'm not an expert on the buildings in Jerusalem. I just know what the words in scripture say and the historical events that took place after. Videos depict the Roman response to the revolt but never detail what the revolt was - a slaughter that called for a heavy action in kind according to the methods of the era.
This kind of biased video about events that happened thousands of years ago, along with other actions, make me question what they do with archaeological findings that contradict their ideology.

A good video overall, though to imply that Vespasian was basically unsuccessful in the earlier part of the campaign is I feel a little bit too strong in my mind. After all, by the time he had left for Rome during the Year of the Four Emperors he had successfully conquered Galilee. He was also in the process of subduing Judea before he left Titus in charge of the siege of Jerusalem. It was a long campaign after all and presumably, if he hadn't made his attempt to become emperor, he would have been the one to finish the campaign, and not Titus.

"Even Vespasian could not defeat them". By saying this they imply that Jewish forces were really powerful but actually they were not. In fact Vespasian was proclaimed by his legions as Roman Emperor and he decided to march to Rome to seize power. He left the command of the army to his son Titus. That was the only reason as to why he did not manage to crush Jewish revolt. He just had more important things to do at the time.

The Romans wanted the gold from the top of the temple so it's unlikely that it was burned intentionally. As it happened, the gold melted and ran down between the stone walls. The Romans had to tear down every stone to retrieve the gold. Stones that weight several tons each. Just as Jesus prophesied, not one stone was left standing upon another.

It speaks about the bravery of a people that have nothing to do with them. And circles around to the persisting question: what is a Jew? Many agree that todays Jews descend from a totally non-semitic ancient tribal nation called Khazaria. It is with this tribe that Jewish history gets a new start. I think the case for the temple mount actually being Fortress Antonia is very convincing the hill is litteraly shaped like a roman castrum exacty,the temple probably was elsewhere below/beside the Fort Antonia.
I understand it was a medieval tradition to place it on the mount.

The Temple wasn't just burnt down, it was plowed out of existence. The work done on locating it further down the hill is concise and compelling.
All of this makes rebuilding the Temple a third time very challenging. They'd have to rebuild Mount Moriah first. But at least they wouldn't have to worry about instigating a war over clearing away those repurposed Roman structures, the Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aqsa Mosque (both originally parts of Hadrian's Temple of Jupiter). However, there's a subdivision south of the Western Wall whose people won't want to move...
So sad what the Jewish community had to experience over thousands of years. I wish peace with all my heart ❤️🤘🐺
