The idea of a dealership building his own versions of the factory models is incredibly exciting to me!
Makes me think of the beginning of the automotive industry when coach builders made their own bodies on factory chassis. It opens a new future for motorbike industry, full of creativity, building the bikes that could not be profitable for a big corporation. Thanks Vincent👍🏻 yea, we are excited about it. I don’t know if we will ever get into chassis fabrication. We are still selling these as a new Harley-Davidson and they do a lot with R&D to make sure the bike is safe. They have the harder job for sure. We are just “enhancing” the bike a bit. It's nice to see these being built from a dealership. In the 60's, there was a Yenko Camero. Don Yenko built brand new performance Camaros out of the dealership. The real ones, are worth a fortune today. (If you can find one) These are not my style of motorcycle. But your team did an awesome job. I voted for the Coast Glide as soon as I saw the video. I am glad the bike has gotten the recognition it deserves. Good luck. You have the dealership that I would like to deal with. Not many family dealerships anymore. I've seen a lot of them go by the way side.

I'm a beemer guy with very little like for HD styling, BUT, these bikes are gorgeous! I love the blue bike. I'd take one in a heartbeat assuming the ride is as good as the looks.

Matt you’re videos just keep getting better ...the music..all the slo mo shots. I think Laidlaws really nailed it with this build i think HD kinda swung n missed with the SportGlide in terms of the front fairing but I hope after seeing all the positive feedback on these 2 bikes they’ll do something more in line with these bikes and really give the people what they want.🇺🇸
Love both bikes but I like blue as a color. So, Coast Glide 2 for me please. KUDOS to the builder's....great vision and skills. Congrats to Laidlaws for making it your own and selling it to the masses.

If I'm living near Los Angeles when I return to the states in a couple years, I'll buy my Harley from your dealership. Your video sold me on the 2018+ Low Rider, but I'm also considering the Electra Standard.

The coast glide 2 is perfect for me and my wife, she’s usually home with the kids, but when she does get a chance she’s all for a ride, so the detachable sissy bar/trunk is perfect, and I love saddle man seats, they look awesome, and I love the blue!
You guys knocked the ball out the park again. I happen to like the CoastGlide II the best. I’m from New York and I’ve hit you guys up in the past. I’m one of your subscribers. You guys just made up my mind. I own a 2015 Street Glide Special and my new gold in life is to save up then contact you guys and have you all build me my own CoastGlide but in black and red. New York needs a CoastGlide and I would love and try to be the first. Keep up the great work guys. 👍🏻

Laidlaws should be the new design team for HD . The coast glide 2 rules . Hey Matt what could you do with a Free Wheeler ? that fairing , front end , seat , wheels , paint , bars , would make a good looking Trike.
HD has good ideas but maybe this contest will open their eyes, HD dealerships have a lot of tallent out there!
Saw this bike in person finally today, really want to buy it. For those that haven’t see it, pictures and videos do it no justice, it is beyond stunning paint in person and ten times better then I thought it looked on video. This team knocked it out of the park. Matt was as cool in person as he is in his videos, the whole staff was awesome to deal with. Wish this shop was close to where I lived (5 hours away) cause they are a top notch. Bought some souvenirs and will probably make the trip here for my next bike purchased. I was impressed with the store and everyone! Shout out to the whole team there.

It only seems appropriate that your student / apprentice travel to Milan, Italy with the bike. The next generation rider / technician with the next generation bike he had a hand in building. Amazing opportunity and learning experience.

Both area amazing but I'm gonna go with #2. The fact that you kept it legal with the S&S and added the new style breather were the reasons why although that is me splitting hairs. Nice tough adding the cut to the purchase as well.

Absolutely nuts man! Love it, the blue of the #2 overcomes my only problem with #1 which was the colour. I've always wondered why, if you're into baggers you don't get a top box (tour pack to you Americans), to me it just doesn't make sense not to. Of course at my age I've few if any intentions of cruising any more (used to do a lot on a Goldwing, toured the entire continent of Europe quite a few times back in the 80s and 90s), so cruisers are now my thing, decent handling cruisers. But those Coast Glides sure look neat.
I need a coast glide. Great build it’s the perfect Harley. If they made a production coast glide I’d snatch one in a heartbeat.
Matt you and the Laidlaw's guys are killing it. I like the blue, no maybe the orange, no...I love 'em both! The removable bags completely changes the look and feel of the bike. Good Luck in Milwaukee!

Great to go ahead and start making these and not waiting in hopes the HD Corporation will. If the demand is there, why not? There are several colors that would would work with the paint scheme but anything flat would not look good in my opinion.

Stunning paint job really pops in the sun, the fairing looks good on the bike also interesting the way you have moved the front for pegs back for a more comfortable ride position.

Love the #2 style & details, especially the blue accent. I think you have hit a home run with with this style bike for CA riders and additional interest for the rest of the US. Smart move to offer to build these models for individual customization. Wish you luck to build many CG bikes and in turn do your part to help Harley build the next generation of riders!
I love my Sport glide. I'm 66 and I love your Coast Glide's, especially the CG 2. I just like blue, although I like the orange more now than when I first saw it Really really nice job.
Beautiful looking bikes! You guys did a fantastic job with both. Calgary HD in Alberta did a similar build called “Moonshine” and won the Battle of the Kings for Canada and is heading to Italy. HD should take notice of the popularity and traction these new custom sport glides are getting and offer something from the factory with that style fairing.

As an FXR rider I absolutely love these bikes. The only thing keeping me from buying a new Harley is they have had nothing truly in the sport touring class in a long time. I so hope they see what great bikes these are. These are what FXR & FXDXT riders have been wanting. I also have a question regarding the s&s pipe. Since it is CARB compliant does it maintain the factory drive train warranty? Great job guys. My favorite color is blue so you know which way I am leaning.
The factory warranty has more to do with the tuner than it does with the pipe. This bike is tuned with screamin Eagle tuners. Yes the warranty is not voided in 99% of the cases.
Sweet bike. Going with orange bike. Looks better but the blue is still very nice. I would ride either one.

Congratulations Team Coast Glide! I still like the Original Coast Glide in orange but that blue is amazing as well. I'm glad you're adding this to the Laidlaw lineup. Teamed up with Espinosa's vest... that's upping the game to another level.
Looks great, I need to set up my 2014 low rider like this. I really like old school clean themed bikes not so much into baggers, but here lately with as much as I ride I sometimes get the feeling of wanting some tunes, some more modern items so I bought the dyna. If I was ever to have anything close to a bagger it's what you guys created. Thanks for the ideas

Yeah it does have that California beach look I think you guys were going for. Personally I find the stretched bags pretty sporty myself. The paint scheme is off the hook, not to overwhelming but enough to really pop against that engine & exhaust.
