We all either don’t remember because we’re made not to or there is nothing. It’s not that scary when you really start to think about it at the right moments.
Just remember that the universe, god nature has assigned you to live but has also assigned you to die. It’s your purpose to die and it’ll happen. It’s inevitable. Just think about times you were afraid of doing something and then actually did it and got relief from it. I’m sure death will be the same.

You run a minimum of a mile a day just for chow. With a 450 lb boat on your head…. You also might have timed runs on that day, or have done a mile of lunges… with a boat on your head.

Literally zero sleep Sunday night, Monday night, and Tuesday night.
They give you a couple hours Wednesday night, but it’s kinda a dirty trick. Right as you’re about to fall into deep sleep after being up so long… they rush in and wake you up. Imagine the willpower it takes to get out of bed, jump right into the ocean, and do another 48 hours.
Guys are barely conscious at this point, but some of the hardest tests still to come. You paddle your boat around the whole peninsula, it takes forever. Guys nod off a little, some are even super strategic and take short turns taking naps, but instructors are in boats still watching everything. You’re not really free to lay out and start snoring it up for like an hour at any point.
Then it culminated in crawling through the mud pits for hours. And what nobody realizes is the mud is freaking cold!
Ever been tired? Yeah? Well have you ever been awake the vast majority of 5 days working out and swimming without a towel to dry off? Sounds kinda uncomfortable right? Ok, well now that you’re imaging that, now go crawl through grueling wet cold mud for 5 hours while we tell you the whole time that we’re extending Hell Week another day cuz you’re not putting out (an old instructor favorite tactic).

I like books and book readings that various authors do. I like poetry and the spoken word. I like cafes and tea houses. I like tea. I like coffee and cappuccino. But it cost money to go places. The people who do spiritual stuff and like all-inclusive kinds of things are who I might like to be around. When people belong to groups of people they have to do stuff to belong to those groups of people. So what is it that those people do that I would have to do to be a part of their group? Guard your heart which is your emotional feelings because your emotional feelings can pull you in different directions. When you are around people frequently you develop emotional attachments and those emotional attachments are okay but you have to be careful to have balance and to have emotional fondness but guard your heart and be mindful. Stay healthy. Stay doing healthier stuff which is eating smaller portion sizes of food to stay slim and slender which is a healthier choice. No smoking cigarettes which is a healthier choice. You have to be careful when you are around people who do smoke cigarettes which are their choices but you might start smoking cigarettes because they smoke cigarettes. If you weren't around those people then you wouldn't be smoking cigarettes.

They’re making sure you’re prepared for any scenario that comes your way during an operation. That’s why in the military they have you ruck for miles and miles and in this case keep you up for 5 days with the littlest amount of sleep because in the real world when you’re in operations there’ll be a time where you have to stay awake for days on end whilst walking miles over heavy terrain to get to safety or a checkpoint.

The point of hell week is to push a person well beyond their limits to see if youll break. When you are in a fire fight for 12 hours, you cant give up, you cant take a nap, you cant eat, you do any of those things and you die. The point of hell week is to make sure that only the survivors get the trident. But you best believe that if you make it theough hell week, your chances of coming out alive as an operator are increased significantly. Everyone thinks they can do what these guys can do. But truth is they cannot. Not even a little bit. Seals are among the deadliest forces in the world, and thats because of their training.
