Followers of Musa and the Torah call themselves Musa'lim as an Mus'lim not Jew or Judaid. Abraham religion is called Baha'i. Oh people of the Scripture, don't let the Jews fools you any more, the Jews are your enemies and Judah was a currupt person and he was the false prophet.

Studying Torah is only the beginning of being a Jew. Much, much, more involved than that. Jews don't study Torah alone. Too many layers of G-d's meaning to navigate through.
Anyone can read and study Torah. It's from G-d meant to be shared with the world to get to know Him. G-d may be what you're being drawn to, Who was previously distant or differently understood by you. Enjoy your journey of discovery.

Americans have become so jaded and lock people up for the most miner, petty BS, not realizing how it destroys people's lives. Having even fewer options when they do get out. About 15 years ago my husband (non Jewish), our 20 year old son with down syndrome and I (my mother was a secular jew from former soviet union) traveled in Europe. In Berlin airport looking for a taxi we've noticed a young hasidic family with 2 little kids waiting for a bus. I greeted them saying "shalom" and the man asked my husband if he is Jewish, he responded "no" but pointed to our son saying that our son is. Immediately the hasidic man said that he has a tefillin which he got out of his suitcase and started putting on our son, who got quite excited about this gesture and attention while I worried that this nice couple was going to miss their bus. Can't remember if they did miss their bus or not, but now after listening to Rabbi Friedman I understand the priorities. ❤

What form of Judaism is this Rabbi espousing? That followers of God seek to do the work for God to allow them to exist on Earth. To be honest I don't think they did a good job of distancing themselves from what they defined selfish / wanting religion and their version of selfless / in service to religion. There wasn't really any process or logic, just arbitrary that if doing the same thing with a different intent the same but better benefits can be derived

I just watched the story of a young man who survived the Holocaust and the tragedy of his losing all his family, he ended living in Brazil and his advice was to never let authoritarianism flourish because it is deadly. We all come from one source and we are all human beings who feel. I pray that people of good will understand the danger we are facing. Thank you, I'm 36 years old starting to believe in god, a process already taking months of thinking in a chair or meditate on it in silence (call it what you want), but I get stuck on the combative approach and contradiction within religions and subreligions while explaining the same message but using different words and sentences causing people to get decided. Deciding to do something(s) good everyday which changes the planet and everything on it comes first, if you can't do something good everyday or more good than bad, you pray, and prayer doesn't have to be something in an invented way by somebody else, sitting and thinking in a chair, can be a way of praying aslong it leads me to do more good than bad for this planet and everything existing on it, inside it and around it. Visiting a place where people practice religion should be a place the helps me resulting in doing more good than bad without wasting to much prescious time.
Your lesson is giving me more inspiration in my search for serving god and I say thank you, which is unnecessary, just like your thoughts on the words "I love you" to a loved one as my message already today explained my feelings and thought.

@@philotaaveti that's a misinterpretation. Rabbi means teacher. We're meant to have many. If you're eluding to that one Jew xians follow, that's a dastardization of the writing.

I have converted to Messianic Judaism almost a year ago. I have never been more at peace. I was raised Christian and left as a young adult because I didn't think a God of love would send any of his children to hell forever and couldn't stay in that religion. The music of Joshua Aaron and Paul Wilbur is so uplifting that I believe it is inspired by angels.

Me too!!! I have not converted but that is my inclination and I have not been happier! It has been a blessing! I only listen to Mesianic Jewish music, especially Joshua Aaron. I will try the other person you mentioned. I have been doing my best to keep high Jewish Holidays. I listen to Rabbis regardless of if they are Messianic or not. I would like to attend a congregation, but I am not there, yet because am healing from congregations.
      All the best!!

We Jews are all waiting for the coming of Moshiach. It's part of the definition of being a Jew. Messianic Jews are xians.
He'll as you're describing is a xian conceit. Jews know that there's no place where G-d isn't. Hell is a transitional place between earth and heaven where a soul is "separated" from their attachment to earthiness. For only 11 months, when kaddish is said. The burning is embarrassment for our attachment to earthliness.

Messianic "Judaism" was created by the churches to trick uneducated Jews into xtianity, by having Jewish trappings, but it is a scam and is not Jewish.

As to work in certain areas you had a different set of papers and different name in order to conceal your religion so you could work. Americans forget how valuable being free to be you really means. Good points you bring up! 🤲

Perfectly right Rabbi. All Belief Systems R.B.S.. as St. Augustine said "I believe because it's ABSURD”. Understanding Yahweh is not a belief, It's a Trust, it’s a Bond. Jews say, In Time We Trust. Time Times the mechanics of the 010 Timing uni-verse. Yesh meAine. Something out of Nothing ~ binary 01.
