Finland is globally so rarely mentioned that whenever finns hear anything related to Finland they fill up the comment section.
Torilla tavataan (meet you at the marketsquare) is an old meme. It is based on event where whenever finns win gold in hockey they gather into Helsinki market and go nuts. You can find clips about this.
So the joke is to celebrate really hard for the fact that someone in the world noticed us even a little.
And it's not hot chocolate, it's mämmi, somekind of rye-pudding. You eat it with creme.
No, you eat it with vanilla sauce!
Mämmi is eaten at Easter time.
the Easter thing that you thought were chocolate is something called "Mämmi" it's a rye - molasses paste that looks like poo, but imo tastes fantastic with some granulated sugar on top and cream, milk, or a mix of the two
dont worry about mosquitos in finland, they are not much in cities, thought the most to see is in nature and countryside :)
Their worst part is making that annoying sound when I'm trying to sleep when the summertime is already bothersome trying to sleep because the Sun is up all the time. No mosquitoes in winter since they all froze to death. No, it's ticks and elk/moose you need to worry about.
