- A day after authorities said a mother killed her two young children, a Jefferson County community was trying to process what happened and look for ways to support the children's families.
Ashley Parmeley admitted Tuesday to killing her 9-year-old daughter, Scarlet, and her 2-year-old son, Isaac, authorities said.

These children are in heaven I have no idea why a mother would take these beautiful children from this earth. You could see the love his sister had for him and him for her. Just beautiful children. Many women have lost their sense of affection, being replaced with a much darker element. I hate to be the Bible guy, but fact is, our heavenly father called this exact thing to happen. And it is going to get much, much worse. Be blessed to all those enduring the all to real struggle of living in the end times.
