- Flying my new RAW 700 in the orange and black scheme. This is the 4th flight on this heli and I'm super impressed with how it flies!
Thanks to my dad for the video.
I was flying this at 2000 rpm.

Great flight and awesome heli. It's definitely locked in. I always keep doing something wrong or maybe it's the pilot hehehe but I can't get any of my helis to feel completely locked in.
Thanks @toadiscoil for the comment! Certainly feels solid. I made sure to get it as mechanically accurate as possible and found I had to do hardly any major swash adjustments or trimming, they are such nice kits. I noticed a massive difference when I swapped over to VBAR too, things like tick tocks or moves that have hard stops it just handles it perfect, hardly any shakes. I've flown this heli on quite a low headspeed too around 1600 rpms for some slow 3D and it just floats I can really recommend it!
@@lukegittinsRC yes I have a Raw KSE that is resting on the shelf waiting for an ESC. When I flew it was great. I think I figured out today some of my woes as I turned down the tail collective pre-comp and now helis behave much better 😁
@@toadiscoilI’d be interested to tweak tail pre comp on this heli and my kraken too I’ve not touched that setting before. I’ll have to watch the video you have on your channel too on your KSE they sound amazing!🚁
@@lukegittinsRC actually I’ve only touched the pre-comp recently. My last flight on the KSE was last year the last event of the season. It flew really well and I was super happy with it. But the 570 and 500 had that disconnected feeling and tweaking that setting solved it. I also have a Kraken 700 the original orange but just the airframe. 700 size electronics are expensive so it’s taking a while. The KSE had a 130A ESC so I kept over-amping it so removed it and placed it on the 570 and the 120A on that one went to the 500 since I killed the 100A on the 500. But at least now the 500 and 570 feel fine. I’ll be releasing those videos next week as I can’t edit them this week. It was very overcast that day started raining at one point I cut one flight short, but managed to get a few in. Yes Terry last I heard mower was on the way
Who took the Vid and what camera used please?
My dad took the video Terry on my phone, iphone 14 pro. I had it on the 4k 60fps setting. I've found if you have it on 3x zoom the heli becomes less of a dot from far away lol.
