This video shows us visiting Barnwell State Park looking for mountain laurel and another failed attempt at fishing. It was a fun afternoon spent with my parents.
Getting out and walking is the best thing for your health without too much cost or effort. Especially good for the older folk. Enjoyed the view and park and the mountain laurel and wildlife. Thanks
We walk quite a good bit. I have a hard time staying at home on my days off from work, so we usually make plans to go do something outside. The park is one of my favorites to visit. I wish that they could get the spillway fixed because it’s so beautiful.
I’m thinking I don’t have much patience either. As soon as I throw the line out I’m bringing it right back in to throw out again. I’ve enjoyed watching my dad fishing though. He seems to be getting into it again.
We hadn’t been fishing since I was 12. I only bought a fishing license this year because it was on the state parks Ultimate Outsider scavenger hunt. I realized when we first did the fishing at Lake Wateree that I had missed it. I’m probably going to scream when I actually catch a fish. 🎣
