- In this video, I show you how to replace your worn out window channel guides and/or weatherstripping. It is important to replace these to prevent any water or moisture from getting to the internal part of the door, potentially causing rust. It's also to prevent any rattling of the window :)

Thank you so much for the video I’m restoring a 78 custom deluxe and I’ll have to replace the window channels and everything soon after I finish with the body work. I’ll be watching this video more once I start working on mine. Thanks again man
Anything to help another squarebody stay on the road. Cheers!
I don't understand how you don't have more views, Excellent video man.
Thanks man. Appreciate it.

Thank you so much for the video man, it told me exactly everything I needed to know without having to explain it forever.
You're welcome. Hope it helps much
Great video and thanks for taking the time! Have you done your vents yet? Thanks!
You're welcome. I haven't done the vents yet. They will probably be next. Not looking forward to it.

The metal tap in the weatherstripping, how to determine left hand and right hand

Awesome video. Have you done one for the weatherstrip on the cab?
That video is coming up next, along with bump stop and doorstriker.
I Have a 1982 Chevy k10 and the rubbers seal in the vent window came in pieces I still have a piece to pulled out from the bottom
I might have to remove the vent window out to take the piece out
Yikes. I dreaded having to take the vent window out. Have never done it. Goodluck!
I’ll be alright I think lol
Good video.
Thank you elias
That was a good video dude
I wonder if it’s the same for my 75 k5
I'm certain it's the same. Maybe someone else can be more sure.
@@dadakingso is the door glass run and the window post liner basically the same weatherstrip or look the same? Just different lengths? I ordered some for my K5 but it looks like I may need to cut into length since they only seem to have c10 style only.
Hi, I have installed the rubber and my windows are stiff to run up and
down is there something to do to make the window running more smoothly?
Triple check to make sure all the seals are sitting correctly in their grooves. Then, I'd take the door panel off and closely look at all the moving parts, make sure there is no binding. Lastly, I'd spray on some dry lubricant on the lateral seals, making sure they are compatible with rubber. Good luck!
@@dadaking silicone lube is best for rubber
Good vid but why the filter
My fault bro. Just learning to be a youtuber.
Mine keep coming off the rails what do i use for them to stay ?
I wonder if the metal clips are broken? May need a new one.
Does this Also go for power door as well
It should be similar. Just make sure you buy the right kit
Now upgrade to power windows.
