I'm not the creator and this question is old, so probably no longer relevant to you. But in case someone else reads it, I've heard that just Elmers glue works, or you can get tacky glue. But it is helpful to have the glue applicator like she does that can be precise. I got mine on Temu

I have done the tight coil, loose coil, and open loose coil. None of these are tight enough in the middle I suppose. You can see through all of them.
