Wasn't there a rated G bumper that was like this as well? The bumper appeared in old grindhouses and can be seen on one of the 42nd Street Forever compilations
I came here because I wanted to see this bumper created in B.C. Canada in the 70s. You do understand shit happened before you were born right slapnuts?
Despite this bumper being discontinued around the Late 70's/Early 80's, and only came back in 2007 for Grindhouse, My local cinema chain in British Columbia used this in 2002 (Maybe 2003, I dunno?) on a double feature for "Cinderella" and "IT". This logo played before "IT" to let the parents know to get their Kids out of the theater, and go play on the Arcade (It was the early 2000's, all Cinemas in BC had arcades). After that, and grindhouse I never saw that logo again. Thank you for uploading this.
ahhh thought it was a ratings thing rather then a region no wonder I couldn't find it :> I've been feeling nostalgic for it recently for some silly reason.
They technically weren't allowed to run it anymore because as of 1997, the BC Film Classification office adopted what was the Canadian Home Video system for theatrical. All theatres were told to stop running these trailers as they weren't valid anymore, although there was a restricted classification still on the docket.
This trailer was only used when Pinocchio and A Clockwork Orange were being shown together as a double feature. It would let the adults in the theater know that it was time for their kids to leave and find their own way home.
2nd Logo Blue Baby Panther (Mid 70s?) Logo: TBA FX/SFX: 2D cel animation Cheesy Factor: TBA Music/Sounds: Rainforest sounds with a jungle beat, some sound effects put in as well, when a thunder cap comes, Rainforest sounds are no longer heard, when the beat stops, purr sounds come in. Availability: Rare for GrildHouse, but extinct in theaters. Scare Factor: Low to high, some of the sound effects and thunder cap will get some, but the blue baby panther is cute however.
"This Film Is Restricted. You must never watch it, Simba."
Don’t ask why a bumper for a “restricted” movie looks like an outtake from The Jungle Book.
Isn't this rather cutesy for something supposed to be rated R?
This looks like Disney’s The Lion King, but in the art style of Hanna-Barbara.
Hanna-Barbera's "The Lion King".
The lion king was made by Disney, not Hanna Barbera!
@@vincenthansen6159 Joke.
@@snarkus63the most impressive thing is you still have your CZcams account 11 years later
@@Foureyezthegamersucksatgamesthat is pretty impressive
Anyone who went to movies in the 80s and 90s in BC remembers the Restricted Cat. Thanks for posting this.
Apparently this logo was designed by the guy in charge of the ratings board in BC back during the WAC Bennett administration in the 60s
Why was this is Spy’s Disguise?

Pink Panther, Black Panther, Blue Panther!
Many thanks for the 720 upload - have been looking for this :)
I remember this as a kid
Soooo cute!
Wouldn't one of those old clips of Looney Toon characters stripping like an old time flapper does... also work?
All right, who put on an episode of Jungle Cubs?
Who came here because of Death Proof? I did.
I did. 100000% did

What was the point of this bumper
It was designed in B.C. Canada, so that even the stupidest person knew they were about to watch an age restricted movie. Congratulations you meatball.
This is one of the reasons why I love Tarantino so much. He always adds that nostalgic touch
even tho this originated from British Columbia, Canada
Hard to believe something so adorable could be shown before such violent and sexual films...
Nerd alert!

This was used by the British Columbia board of Censors in the 1970's.

@visaman I suppose their limited obscurity probably confused many to think they were made specially for "Death Proof".

This one was used in British Columbia (and Saskatchewan) in the 1980's I saw it often at the Golden Kitten and the Fox
I lived in Yorkton SK in the 80's, and I have never seen this one.
@@PyramidOfBubbles777 it was rarely used here too.
