The item is broken. Example i fight Tahm Kench who was 2 level ahead, with only Blackfire + Mask i burn him in 3 sec.
Because thats classic riot. Create a new OP item -> nerf champs that abuse it instead of nerfing the item
the item needs to be removed or needs a complete rework.. it has already been nerfed.

Eh, it’s a buff to her pre-6 and even probably a buff up to level 10-13 kind of range, since she’s maxing traps second. She’ll be getting a lot of attack speed from this, especially if he’s going alacrity along with any other attack speed.

They are nerfing IE in the least fun way possible. Just reduce the ad by 10. Crit damage increase is the whole point of the item.
The worst thing is that this nerf is just wrong. Nerfing crit damage is a lategame nerf. The current problem with IE is that it is too good in early, as first or 2nd Item. So they totally missed the Mark with this one. 10 ad nerf would be way better

@@m4jki316 Well the crit damage clearly is the problem because champs like Caitlyn and Jhin are one shotting assassins, mages, ADCs and even bruisers. They are basically ranged assassins as opposed to sustained damage dealers.
Most weird patch ever. Nerfing everything that uses blackfire torch but not the item, brand goes untouched, Caitlyn players are not allowed to have fun. Yi buffs wont compensate for loss of lethal tempo. Please hire some pro’s to do the balancing riot

OFC they dont nerf maybe yet blackfire. If you look at champs that abuse that item most of time they are> Brand, Lilia, Karthus. All of them are squishy mage junglers. You can kill them at every stage of the game. So its not like that item is op, just most of players dont know how to tax squishy ap junglers, cause once taxed they r done.
If u jg track well u can punish them cause their early game is horrible and even later in the game they can be killed so ... an item shouldnt be nerfed or removed just because players lack game knowledge.

Clear times are so fast and efficient vs. other jgl’ers that it’s downright impossible to contest early scuttles etc. the consistency through many games is much higher than playing an invading jungle and relying on being able to kill them early. Nevertheless, if you do Brand’s ult with blackfire and liandries straight up kills an entire team

From what i saw in my games (curently playing on silver smurf acc, and im master on main acc) ppl in low elo do not know use properly a good jg clear, and this make their clearing time useless (therefore the item is not that strong, cause ppl dont know how to abuse clear time advantage). As far as i know 80% + of players are in low elo. Do u get my point of view? The question is: is that item still op/needing nerf if 80% of players dont know how to use it at full power and only 20% can play around it?

I think they won't change anything, she will still go full ad build, maybe skipping collector at most, after its nerf. She will losem some damage but It won't change her strongest part, which are the e and passive headshot. Her DMG on w was already too much do It will make her more on line with her kit. Overall, I don't think the needs will make her go attack speed, but she will be in a more reasonable state.
@@pyrgus3863 Totally agree on that, exept that i still think collector will be the way to go, might arguably swap for opportunity but i still think collector is hella good even after the nerf, and the fact she still has the same damage on her passive headshot keeps her in a very decent state in the meta, it's just that her early game won't be as good as it is right now, wich is totally fine. Overall i like the changes, even tho i'am a huge caitlyn fan, but all of this seems "reasonable", but i'll have to test it out since 2 of her core build item are getting nerfed, plus all the changes.
@@selimb33 I have the same opinion as you about her. She deserved the nerf, I just don't understand how will it make her go attack speed. And as for collector, it is overall a nad item, you mostly use its stats, and that is it. Its status arę currently ok, but with them nerfed, you need to remember that they made the cost way bigger. If think it will be way better to skip it and instantly go IE into yun tal or lord dominki. They cost almost the same but give better stats and good passives. Collector will always be a questionable item, for example LS was explaining it a lot for a long time, you can check it
She is too bursty right now. Whole game still too bursty.
May take a few patches but this brings back sustained DPS, which is better for Botlane than current 'late game long distance assassin'.

@@MJ1105s Every champion has many builds. Q from Yi got huge buffs with Ad scaling and crit scaling. Build 500 AD + crit and u oneshoot 5 people with only 1 Q.
@@MJ1105s depends on current meta... and current meta is all about melee/mid range champs and health stacking so with that, so with that, if you build anything other than hail of blades with bork into kraken into guinso into hydra/wits end... youre straight up trolling.

Like on akali i can be 3 levels ahead. 10/0 with a fully stacked darkseal. Obv i kill the brand in those scenarios but 5/10 i die a few seconds after to bf/liandry burn with his burn. Nun i could do with no hp pots. He gets practicallt free burn damage whenever i all in. Dont matter if i do a slow all in or fast im gonna burn.

I've calculated what a boost for caitlyn from buff to attack speed, it is if you maximize the whole build to make this buff is stronger felt, that is, if you buy all the items for attack speed, the buff gives about 0.90 to increase attack speed, it is about the difference between 1 and 5 lvl in attack speed. If you take an fine build where you can allocate 2 places under the kraken and rapidfirecannon with boots for speed, the difference will be before buff and after buff as between 1 and 3 lvl it is about 0.40. That is, in fact, it is nothing at all. They just nerfed Caitlyn to shit for nothing

So heres the thing that pisses me off. Caitlyn used to have some pretty cool headshot auto cancel mechanics way back that made the skill cieling a little higher for the champ. They took that away. Now theyre taking away the majority of the power that is given to her W and giving it towards her passive since she will now AA more. Are they trying to make her the ultimate right click champ? it's crazy to think about how a simple change of a small value affects the whole game.
I agree. Between tiny adjustments and watching people emphasize how important minion XP and gold leads are helped me realize that the game is actually fairly balanced. At low ELO I never considered these things and just all-in if I feel like I can win but now I check items and levels before I engage. Seems pretty basic but after doing this I've noticed how close the fights are when both champs have the same level and items and play it 'properly'.

Don't forget the timers rez they did some patch ago. It's now impossible to get plates outside of botlane. Riot is taking drugs, or they just hire random 80yo guys who never touch a pc in their life to balance the game.

Q from Smolder has AP scaling and also deals magic dmg beside psyhical.
His burn is magic damage but it scales with crit

The video is slightly wrong. Smolder Q deals physical damage, that is increased by crit chance (currently 50% max), that part is correct. The bonus magic damage is part of Smolder's passive. But that damage scales with a % of passive stacks, that % itself scaling on crit : 40% of stacks at 0% crit, 52% of stacks at 100% crit, right now, the formula being 40 * (1 + 0.3*crit). The 0.3 becoming 0.75 would mean the bonus magic damage would scale from 40% stacks at 0% crit to 115% stacks at 100% crit, meaning crit becomes finally a useful stat for him. Hope that clears things up.

The way I see it, when some champions are now unplayable without a certain Rune, that means the Rune System is badly designed.
They should complement gameplay and create playstyle opportunities, not be mandatory for a champ to be useful.
It's tough considering the amount of champs and the game's content, but there are definitely ways to approach the issue.
The same goes for Items. Having to nerf Taliyah's Q ability because the champ has become too strong because of Blackfire Torch????? How about addressing Blackfire Torch??? As it stands, Taliyah is now "not overpowered" anymore, but building Blackfire Torch is mandatory...

Draven was good at the start of the last patch but then they giga nerfed him in a hotfix which made him pretty bad and then they are also nerfing collector and IE. The buff wont be enough to make him good anyways.

Skillcapped just dropped the ball here. They didn't change anything on the E, they just added a lot of things to the empowered version. So instead of only getting extra move speed, u also get all those buffs.
And to think pantheon is one of the serrated dirk tech champions xd and got buffed, riot being riot lol
@@gonzalocornejo9267 The whole point of those buffs those is that they don't really buff the lethality build. The max health w is still magic damage and the empowered E is for bruiser pantheon to go in and soak for the team. Unless you're slotting in max health into your lethality one shot build you get no bonuses to the buffs.

It was, but now they're taking even less damage now before 5min. From what I can tell, it's to prevent ADC/Support duo taking plates before 5 mins in mid/top when they swapped lanes in pro-play.

Any movement impairment spell will stop it. Same will happen with champs like riven's q or irelia's q. You won't be able to use them.

@@anofans That's a terrible take. K'sante W is a huge reason for why he works so well in pro. adjusting the defensive capability of his W while also making adjustments against laneswapping is a big step in the right direction.

I enjoyed playing Mordekaiser. These nerfs are idiotic. Making his passive do 5 base dps flat basically means his passive is only good for slowing now.

As a Gangplank main, I've been suffering an unfathomable amount as of late and Riot's fix is 30HP and 9 armor... Might as well just come here and kill me at this point.
