Really nice boat! I especially like the carbon/kevlar weave to the hull. But why are the rudders sharpened on the leading edges? They look like pocket knife blades. Are they this way so that you can be sure and cut the random minnows in half as you fly by?

Hi brother like any boat you must slush the cooling system with fresh water specifically after being in salt water.
Yeah bro, religiously even straight after running we would all flush our systems and innox. But apparently not....all good now, replaced inlets and cleaned jacket 🤙

Spray some silicone spray or WD40 through the cooling lines after your done running it and it will flush any water left in there and stop any rust from happening. Takes two seconds with the little red nozzle they come with.
Unfortunately a rigorous after run cleaning routine of Innox and Silicon spray still was no match for salt water running 🤷♂️👊
@@michaellucre8249 Saddly Salt water really does a number on aluminum. Probably corroded the hell out of the inside of the water jacket and the motor case.
Michael Lucre what about blowing the lines out with compressed air then some Silicone spray. I would think if done right after running it anytime in saltwater that would protect it?

You have to move the stinger up a couple millimeters the boat is running way too wet too much boat in the water

Depends on the size of the battery. We were getting around 10min

It almost sounds like it's still cavitating a little bit🤔 you may need to adjust your rear stabilizers and that may also fix your over heating problem.✌️

It's a nice boat I guess. love the low profile, and the carbon fiber kevlar that in itself was ingenious. from the look of things inside its well balanced and laid out for a propdrive system. however I do think $800.00 is a bit over the top for an electric RC boat personally for that money I can go to Academy Sports and buy a jon boat and a trolling motor here in the states.
I do think that if the boat was 40 inches long rather than 33.3 and it had a jet drive like the Thresher. it might be worth the $800.00 price tag might even be faster to.
All in all its a well built well laid out really fast boat.

Overheated ESC or low-voltage cut-off... either way, this boat has not been properly tuned. It runs way too wet, so too much wetted area which works like a brake. One has to move the CG more to the back in order to reduce currents! Those aluminium steps at the transom of the hull.... get rid of these. They are useless and generate extra drag.

I’ll probably do another video with the stock 4519 prop, I’ve been unable to grab one as they’ve been out of stock for a bit so it wouldn’t of been a fair test. New high rake prop also coming as well

Would be much better if this was a catamaran.
These boats are thin and break easy.. Plus Bill Oxidean is not a nice person, ripped off a bunch of people online and when he was called out , he choked and left Facebook for a short while. But before doing so said some pretty mean stuff on some threads Not the kind of guy I 'd do business with .
