“Irish Have Shot Themselves In The Foot” | Migrants Use “Brexit Express” Coaches To Flee UK

  • Coaches traveling from Belfast to Dublin are being called the "Brexit Express" due to the increasing number of migrants using them to leave the UK. Drivers report transporting more than six asylum seekers on the typical journey from Northern Ireland to the Republic of Ireland.
The patten of behaviour started about six months ago and continues despite the passing of the Safety of Rwanda bill, which aims to process refugee claims in Africa.
Some Dublin Express workers express frustration with migrants using fake tickets for the two-and-a-half-hour journey south.
Asylum seekers indicate that if deported to the UK, they will simply return to the Republic of Ireland, as promised by Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris.
Nick De Bois speaks with former chief immigration officer, Kevin Saunders.

Everyone keeps talking about this issue but the boats just keep coming and coming. Over last 7 days 1,366 have crossed the channel and landed at Dover. The pull factors are too strong its costing a massive amount of money the country can’t afford. Its increasingly more difficult for british people to claim benefits and the conservatives are trying to plug the hole in the bucket by targeting vulnerable people by making the process of claiming benefits and being on benefits very stressful and unpleasant. State pension age is now 68 and looks like age will go up again or even the State Pension will be totally scrapped. These are the consequences of trying to accommodate the whole world on one small Island.

The reason there’s a soft border between north and south of Ireland, is because the north of Ireland would be desecrated if it was cut off completely. London did absolutely nothing to support them in brexit negotiations. It was Dublin and the eu who made sure they weren’t going to be destroyed. Since Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom , the politicians in London should have some little bit of respect for their well-being. It’s shocking how stupid and ill informed so many politicians are. Even the media don’t know what they’re talking about most of the time

    • @garrywynne1218

Utter bs. The EU did nothing other than ignore the GFA Strands provision ( international law ) to secure cash and leverage in the Brexit negotiation. The GFA says nothing about an “ open border” it the expressly states there is one under the Constitutional Issues section. You were played by your own political class.
