You have to use 50 cal foam balls. Rival is waaaay to big for the shell.

@@ufm123 that kind of range isn’t even enough to tell how accurate it is. A stock nerf blaster with elite darts is very inaccurate, but could still hit all of those targets at that range.

This is not Call of Duty, a decent shotgun is still effective at ~100 feet with normal buckshot. Slugs can be effective out to ~300 feet. This is not shotgun range. It is barely even knife range lol.

Over 300 with hyper rounds?!?! Indoor airsoft fields don’t let you bring in anything that hits harder than 350 fps, I could bring that thing to my airsoft field.
that is a .50 cal foam ball. hyper is a larger ammo and is made out of a rubber so the density is way different. a 300 fps hyper round would be insane. a .50 foam ball is way lighter and actually becomes very inaccurate past 40 feet.
I find it crazy that that thing shoots faster then most low level airsoft guns

I wouldn’t say its the best ever made but it is great for the price
With one ball. The coolest thing about a shotgun to me is the volume of fire you can get with one shot. If you’re gonna use one round per shot why not use a regular performance springer that doesn’t eject shells you have to go pick up

You can order all of the parts for the 2.0 version separately. Most parts should be identical (color aside) to those on the original, some like the part which connects the barrel and tube magazine to the body, as well as the magazine tube itself have been slightly modified to prevent some of the 1.0's cracking issues.

They break easily, also the *U H U* glue is kinda bad, so just a hint to any buyers
Most of the time accuracy isn't the job of the blaster, it's mostly the darts job.
Also includes an even high rate of losing darts
Been having trouble with mine not ejecting shells and the tube magazine just popping out randomly...had to teflon tape it to make it friction fit properly
I ended up just using 2 part epoxy on mine and notice you have to rack it with intention to ensure the shells properly eject
@@drflux Yea I figured out that it's the tightness of the rubber seal on the barrel that is a tad too tight and keeping the shells seeded. I wanted to glue mine however I might grab the expanded tube mag later and don't want to commit to gluing it permanently

As someone who uses the firefly quite often in games this isnt exactly accurate to how the firefly preforms in games. If you're going in with the mindset of being somewhat effective using the firefly with half lengths in the shells is kind of a waste as the preformance is no different than that of a boosted nexus, the only thing that really makes the shells useful is 4 .50cal foam balls (which is only effective at 25ft). Ive found that the optimal way to run the firefly is as a secondary on a sling with only the .50cal foam balls, and using a ziiiiiinc for primary use
For $ 60-70, I can buy an airsoft pistol (Stalker S1911RD) with a hard recoil, a realistic look and a movable shutter, and here for $ 80 (!) a shotgun that cannot shoot at 20 meters
