Why want the perfect,
Imperfection is also fine.
Why want all to accept,
If alone we can confine.
Why recall the past,
If present can be embraced.
Why always be fast,
If leisurely all can be faced.
Why worry the future,
If every instant is to enjoy.
Why not have the humour,
If it can give immense joy.
Why get so angry,
If we can still smile.
Why be so greedy,
If we just live for a while.
Why be so upset,
If amusement is in our hands.
Why have any regret,
If anything we can withstand.
Why just always grumble,
If we can still appreciate.
Why not be humble,
For sufferings to alleviate.
Why think of luxury,
Simplicity is also right.
Why be in a hurry,
If we can wait despite.
Why want the cash,
If it replaces our pleasure;
Everything turns into ash,
Abandoned are all treasures.
Why want the universe,
We ourselves are better.
Why look out for diverse,
If just the little things matter...!!!
