The Soka Gakkai is a global community-based Buddhist organization that promotes peace, culture and education centered on respect for the dignity of life. Its members in 192 countries and territories study and put into practice the humanistic philosophy of Nichiren Buddhism.
Soka Gakkai members strive to actualize their inherent potential while contributing to their local communities and responding to the shared issues facing humankind. This organization has changed my life for the better.
Facts! Almost 13 years ago on January 5th, 2010; when I received Gohonzon in New York City; I looked for video postings. This was the first one that I viewed; and I have shared with many people. I guided/shakubuked my mother before her passing into extinction; and I am easing my way into guiding and sharing this wonderful faith/philosophy/practice of Nichiren Buddhism -- appropriately; victoriously; and effectively!
This organization made my life worse.
Absolutely amazing video and great Organization taking the lead on Humanitarian transformation of societies.
Yay! What a great introductory depiction of our organization-the SGI. Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo world.
Thank you so much to Mr. Chuck Gomez and all other staffs. Nobu Urushiyama.

Mentor (noun): an experienced and trusted counselor or adviser.
Have you ever had a single conversation with your "sensei" Daisaku Ikeda? Does he know your name? Does he know your problems? Can he provide you with counseling or advice when you need it? If no, how can there be a true mentor-disciple relationship?
Sensei Daisaku Ikeda guides us within his several writings ✍ rich in experiences of his own and explanations of many wonderful Gosho of Nichiren Daishonin.
@@amoskouame5608 It is well documented that his writings are actually written by a team of ghostwriters.
@@JK_JK_JK In life in many domains there are people who inspire us,we do not know all of them personally. For exemple I like Steve Jobs, he inspires me and I have never met him, but and can watch videos about him ,listen to some of his former speaches and get something throug that. For me he's my technological master.
Nowadays Christians and Muslims People have never seen Jesus and Prophet Mohammad, who have never written, but they believe in them and respectively in the Bible and the Coran.
And also I'll mention again that ,those Holly scriptures has not been written by them.
So what your saying his irrelevant and has no sens at all.
For my spiritual life,I have chosen Daisaku Ikeda for mentor and Nichiren Daishonin Buddhism, practiced and well organized by the SOKA Gakkai, period.
If you have your choice I respect it.So you should respect those who has chosen Daisaku Ikeda Sensei as mentor. And you should have respect for him as well...
@@amoskouame5608 Mentor (noun): an experienced and trusted counselor or adviser.
Historical persons who inspire us are not mentors. So what your saying is irrelevant and makes no sense at all.
The most important is what you believe, what give you peace, what give you happiness, what give you prosperity in terms of mental prosperity, physical prosperity, economical prosperity, social prosperity and so on. A mentor/ messenger/ personality / religion, it can be anyone, anything, you believe in and give peace and happiness by all means. This whole world is one family, which include all living beings, yes, everyone. So in a family it is important that everybody is happy, everybody is prosperous, everybody respect each other, everybody respect and love nature. It's a life.
