In Buddhism you don't pray to 'false' Gods oh frightened, ignorant one. We connect to ourselves spiritually and mentally and strengthen ourselves internally. This is done to become a happier, enlightened, non-judgemental human being.
Sounds like you need Buddhism in your life! You sound scared and chained to horrible, negative ideas about life.

Hey Naima, I watched that particular season when u won that cycle of ANTM and I didn't know what it was about u but I knew u were a little different in a spiritual sense (I had no idea that u were a buddhist at the time) and there was something unique about your aura, I guess, but I knew I connected with your sense of being and wanting to be whole. I'm so proud of you and it's nice to know that SGI members are everywhere when u least expect it. Thank you for sharing your story and keep chanting!

@@sharlenewilliams2722 Can't tell if you're kidding or not, but most of the world is not Christian. If you are happy with your faith, great. This woman is happy with hers.
There is no reason to force someone else into unhappiness or spiritual bondage against his or her will just because it is something you accept. If you were kidding, I apologize. If you were serious, Buddhists repent their wrongdoings all the time and try to become better throughout their lives. As for accepting Jesus -- there is no need to be saved in Buddhism. It isn't in the canon.

I'm so encouraged by her experience because it reminds me of what I'm going through. She had this false sense of success and then realized by chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo that she could awaken her greater self and find true happiness.

The Lotus Sutra is the MOST POWERFUL RELIGIOUS TEXT IN HISTORY. Chant NMRK and be PROUD to be Buddhist. Also, in an emergency, read and chant Chapter 25 of LS :)

@@amanconceptual4768 No, no miracles. Just opening your eyes and seeing opportunities to make your life or attitude better, even if you are in a hellish situation. The Lotus Sutra isn't considered gospel straight from a god. The whole thing is an allegory, like Aesop's Fables.

If u wish to know and realise who really you are and what is the purpose of life. The only way out is study, meditate and practice Buddhism. Buddhism teach you how you are complete in yourself with tremendous potential to achieve any damn thing without requiring God and all those so called divine things.
