You should really react to Grieg's piano concerto in A minor. It's one of the first "modern" piano concertos. Rachmaninoff based his 1st piano concerto on it, a really good piano concerto!
I will be doing this one soon :)
Definitely agree.
The second movement is pure heaven for me
I like Zimmerman's interpretation with the Polish festival orchestra the most but it'll be interesting to see how Hayato does as well. As always great reaction Gidi!
I like this guy, these kind of videos are very unique
Hayato Sumino aka Cateen is my favorite pianist/youtuber. Beautiful rendition. Thank you for your reaction.
U can go sub to Hayato Sumino here! U can watch all his other piano performances here too!

Known online famously as “cateen” and he even took part in the most recent Chopin competition!😁
The Seong-jin cho interpretation is out of this world
What about argerich?
@@andresantos_ yooooooo at least give a reason 💀
@@lighting7508 I’m a perfecionist in all forms
Cho is legendary
Blechacz is also very good
Love this performance by hayato! You should definitely react to the 2nd and 3rd movement as well
Fun Fact: This is Chopins second piano concerto, because he wrote this before the number 2. The same with the first two piano concertos by Beethoven, no. 1 is number 2 and vice verse. And the same with the the first piano sonatas by Brahms.
Also
His last nocturne is actually the first that he wrote
Been a fan for a while now and love the Chopin reactions! thank you for being one of the only youtubers who consistently reacts to classical music, if you like to hear more of Chopin's orchestration one of his more unknown piece that i would recommend reacting to is the Krakowiak op. 14. Without a doubt one of the more unique pieces composed by Chopin
The third movement is a bop.
Yes! Please do the third mvt, its my favorite and you Will probably love it!
Chopin🐐
❤❤❤
Cateen's another Chopin Piano Concerto No.1 has been released now! Please listen to the one with NHK Symphony orchestra on CZcams too!
i agree that the production on this youtube livestream of this performance is top notch, really amazing how detailed it is
Absolutely love your reviews. You speak my mind.
Judging from what you seem to like, Gidi, I'd guess you'd like quite a lot of Schumann. Schumann was very supportive of Chopin ("Hats off gentlemen, I introduce a genius") and was instrumental in the development of Brahms, too. If you'd like a Schumann recommendation, I'd go for Schumann's second symphony.
Great reaction, thanks for Fulfill one of my Recomendation
Ralaf Blechacz performance of this concerto is also a good watch. When he won the Chopin competition
GIDI Hi from Kazakhstan, please react to etudes by Chopin
For me it's a competition between Chopin and Ravel, as long as it's one of their piano pieces it will always work for me, just depends on the mood which one climbs to the top. Chopin is pure goosebumps all the way through and with Ravel it's some form of state of hypnosis, you just stare forward blankly because the music takes you to that space.
I love Chopin. I had to play a few of his Etudes for a competition
such a beautiful piece !
You should react to Martha argrich playing Scarlatti sonata d minor k141
You should try out the rest of Chopin's four Scherzi, since you reacted only to No. 2(correct me if I'm wrong).
My personal recommendation is Li Yundi's version on CZcams. (There is a sheet music video containing all four.)
Chopin is just in another realm!
Wonderful music.Thank you for the introduction to this
This is my favorite Chopin's concerto. The quintessence of being Polish.
The fact that Chopin composed this when he was just 20...

Check out Yuja Wang sometime. All her concerts are free from copyright. She is amazing !!! Sometimes her fingers are just a blur. A very short one is the Flight of the bumblebee!!!!! I never saw anyone play that fast. Anything with Yuja is amazing!!!!!!!
I love Chopin.
I love this piece.
THANK YOU!
PS. You want dramatic? Try his Fantasie-Impromptu!
His Channel is cateen hes pretty good
Hey man thankyou for listening to classical music :)
You’re alive?
I won't die unless you people forget me :)

i personnaly prefer seong jin cho’s version during the competition you should defo check it out !
Since you've also been listening to Brahms's 4th Symphony, I thought I'd mention that the conductor in this video, Marin Alsop, did my favorite recording of the Brahms symphonies.
You should listen to Olga Sceps interpretation too !
Well thats a great pianist, and maybe even a better conducter
Her name btw is (marin alsop)
Echoing another comment. Please check out Yuja Wang!!!!! Any one of her concerts is spectacular!!!! There is also a little short encore piece called flight of the bumblebee and I have never heard it played that fast!!!!!!! 15:32
You have introduced me to so many new pieces!
I highly recommend Sonetto 104 by Liszt.
It is a beautiful piece about unrequited love

I like Bruce Liu interpretation. Stunning performance. You react on that version.

Chopin suffered of bipolar disorder that why the piano sound moody and scared
