I would love to see Medtner reactions. Some of his sonatas and his second piano concertos are some of my favorite works in the piano literature. I would also love to see opera reactions sometime. I'd LOVE to see a reaction to Bellini's "Norma", especially since you have made a reaction of Liszt's piano fantasy of said work.

The 3rd movement is considered one of the finest scherzos ever written. I was a professional musician for many years and I agree with you - it usually takes me a couple of hearings of a new piece before I love it. I think it's because a lot of the enjoyment of great music comes in the anticipation of what's coming next. I suggest listening to a couple of Schubert's lieder (songs), very short pieces for voice accompanied by piano, usually. Schubert is the undisputed master of that form. I suggest starting with the CZcams video of Standchen, sung by Peter Schreier, one of the greatest German tenors of the 20th century - four minutes of sheer gorgeousness! Look up the lyrics, they are beautiful even in English.

First time I heard this symphony, somewhere during the last movement, I couldn't stop myself from falling to the ground crying uncontrollably for about an hour. Definitely one of the most cathartic musical experiences ever.

I like the choice and over all I like You don't stop the music! About this Overture: I think a lot of people had never listen to it. And maybe I know why: there's no a strong (easy, pop, catchy) melody to remember. If you want to remember something you've to listen again and again. And maybe it's not enough! 😍

This is how people get hooked on Mozart and classical music in general. Mozart speaks the language of piano players who dominate music composition. Another video of this type can be seen on CZcams as "Watch a prodigy create-from four notes in a hat " when journalist Scott Pelly interviewed child composer and piano prodigy Alma Deutscher who demonstrated composing for him. The CZcams video entitled "Wagner's Dream: The Opening Bars of Rheingold" shows how Richard Wagner built a spectacular 14 hour set of four sequential operas called the Ring cycle starting with the single note of e-flat". The CZcams videos entitled "Amazing! How Rachmaninov took Paganini and made the 18th variation" and "Rachmaninoff-Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini (Stephen Hough)" show how to compose by taking someone else's musical score and turning it upside down or otherwise playing with it.

As great as it is listening to great recordings, you should listen to this piece in the concert hall. It's quite an experience.

I would love you to react to Medtner's night wind sonata in interpretation of Hamelin, it's superb piece, inspired by this this Liszt's sonata a lot, but with medtneresque spirit!

Recommendation: Beethoven 32nd sonata (op 111) - András Schiff.

I'd advise you to listen to Busoni piano concerto in C major, it's a massive and horrific one.
