I've had the worst day today. Suicidal. Still trying to work on myself (only at the beginning). Hating myself. I feel like the MORE I work on myself, the HARDER it is getting as if I'm being pushed. But when I turn on Jesse and listen to him, I feel at peace. He helps orient my perspective back to working on myself, seeing the thoughts as they pass by, becoming the observer. I understand now why he always says, "Stay with it, stay with it, stay with it." Because it's so hard to just give up and go back to your old hell and habits. I hope so much I don't do that, and I can overcome my own hell. I see a light at the end of the tunnel, but I'm definitely having to work harder to get there. I want SO bad to shed my ego. It's making me miserable. What a great church service. Thank you, Jesse!

The 20 year old should not have been given a mike especially if she doesn't understand why the man should be in charge. She'll have a lot of hell to go through before she understands the man she wants will be a leader and lead her in the right direction like her father should have done. The man with certain experiences and wisdom will see things before she will and guide her in the right direction. Not all men but the one man you truly want to follow. She hasn't met a real man yet only boys playing pretend.

My mom live in another city like 6 hours from here and I wanna forgive her asap do you think it’s okay to do over the phone or should I wait until I can come up there and do it? I’m studying full time and working so it’s a bit challenging to find the time to go up and I really wanna get it done…

What in the world is a “practical fear”, why do you keep throwing that word around so much? Practical. All thoughts are lie, just not practical ones, those are not lies. Now it’s not all fear, because there are practical fears. Apparently being afraid of being mugged is “practical” rather than you just being afraid. Some of what Jesse says is akin to double-talk. What next, will there be practical anger? Like flipping tables over in the temple?
If you have an impractical fear of being mugged, it's no longer practical fear (useful for survival and living), but is holding you back in life.
You have to remember that Jesse is black and slow, and not an intellectual so I understand why you are confused about what he means by practical fear. It is not that you should be afraid of the robber, but that your discernment will lead you to do things that arent outrightly foolish. And intuition is a big part of this but its very easy for people to attatch fear to a course of action but that would be in appearance only. Not walking on glass dipped in poison would be because of fear? It is through understanding that you are able to discern. But it is important in more complex matters to practice this discernment that is beyond even experience. Which comes from submission to the truth and not your ego which likes to think it knows.
Think of the attachment to the fear or any other emotion. If you walk around the streets in fear that you’ll be robbed, that’s “impractical fear”. It’s in your mind.
If you encounter a robber, then that fear is practical, or rational because it’s a real threat in the moment.
Any kind of fear or emotion that is not in the present reality is in the mind, therefore it doesn’t truly exist.
If you stay present, you free yourself of those “impractical” fears, worries, etc.
