- Step into a world of mesmerizing wonder as we bring you extraordinary footage captured on the night of August 29th at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas, California.
One of nature's most enchanting phenomena, glowing plankton, tiny bioluminescent microalgae, turned the Ocean into a sea of sparkling magic.
In this video, you'll be immersed in the surreal world of bioluminescence, where the Ocean comes alive with shimmering blue lights. It's a reminder of the incredible beauty our planet holds, hidden beneath the surface.
This footage also captures brave night surfers and swimmers who dared to ride these luminous waves.
Join us in experiencing this magical convergence wherever you may live. PyroFarms grows and sells these bioluminescent microalgae (called PyroDinos), and we ship our PyroDinos worldwide. All of our PyroDino are grown at our San Diego, CA facility, and nothing is removed from the Ocean. Visit PyroFarms.com to learn more.
I’m curious what kind of camera and settings you use to see the bioluminescence. I kayaked in Florida, and although I could see it very clearly with my eyes, my phone camera picked up nothing.
We used a Sony A7SII camera with a 50mm 1.4f lens for these photos. Here is an article about using your phone and camera to capture bioluminescence. pyrofarms.com/blogs/pyrofarms-blue-light-special/taking-pictures-of-bioluminescence
@@PyroFarms Thank you.
Como será sin luna?
Parecerá más brillante sin luna.
do u think there will still be bioluminescence today?
I am sorry but I think the bloom has dispersed or moved elsewhere.
