Kong to Valdez Boat trip August 2021

We took the ferry from Whittier to Valdez, Alaska in about 6 hours in August of 2021. Here are some highlights. Carl booked our ferry trip, so he drove his car into the boat and off we went. From Valdez, we drove back to Anchorage on the Richardson highway. These ferries were launched back in the early 1970's and are getting pretty old with occasional mechanical problems; we are fortunate to have taken this trip...Visited with my niece Vanessa and her family who now reside in Valdez. I just about busted out in tears, as we had not seen each other for such a long time.
