Thank you for explaining it so well! I never knew that trick to flattening the layer form a sphere. I added a second moving texture layer and it makes for a pretty good illusion of moving cloud layers, I just make one layer a bit slower than the other.

is it possible to make volumetric cloud from visual shader?
I am researching on "Ray marching" and hopefully I can cook something by improving "Shader-Lib" in the future.
