Locos are 5 digit numbers where the first two numbers are the class of train e.g. 67010 would be a class 67. Headcodes - e.g. 1F32 or 5M00 - These are used by the railway signallers to determine where trains are on the network. Every train within a region has a specific four code ID. Click Here to learn more

Set Number - e.g. WB64 or NL04 - These are semi-permanent loco hauled coach formations which are kept together for formalities. The first two letters usually indicate the maintenance depot responsible e.g. OC is Old Oak Common, LA is Laira. The number indicates the rake number.

I love class 800
Great video well edited. When you went to berkhamsted did you go under the rope to get on to platform 2?
Great video, the flooding has been crazy recently, half of the GEML was underwater!
I overheard Greater Anglia staff saying they couldn't see the rail equipment it was that deep!.
Thanks GEML Spots, thats incredible! I hope everyone was ok.
Nice, Taunton station. Such great icons now gone or even going to begin their new life.
Great mixed variety :-)
Glad you enjoyed it Ricky. Incredible that these are on their way to Nigeria and Mexico. Frankly, those new owners much have thought theyve won the lottery.. Some of those Mk3 interiors are gold especially the LNER First Class!
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it đ
Great video starlife!

Are the HSTs still around? I thought they were withdrawn in May 2019 (Paddington)
Some are still around Annabel but use on trunk routes on the Great Western and East Coast are gone. You can still see some on Network Rail Test Trains, GWR Penzance to Plymouth and ScotRail InterCity trains.
Nice video Ross!
Thanks Paul! I appreciate your kind comments đ
Lovely station and lovely part of the world! Visited there a month ago to watch some cricket with a few friends and got some snaps inbetween. Lovely stuff as always.
Thanks TOTB and Iâm glad you liked! I really enjoyed this one. There was some downtime between trains but the Starbucks on the station made up for that đđđ»
Brilliant Catch once again Starlife! I really love the HSTs, what's your thought on them?
Thanks MG Trains, I love them, a piece of my childhood that I wish could stay. The HSTs themselves are timeless proving time and time again that the modern railway were have today was built on these fantastic machines. What about you?
@@StarlifeStudios You're Welcome Starlife, I really love HSTs they were one of my childhood Trains aswell đ
â@@StarlifeStudiosI still wish HSTs were a common sight on the rail network

Taunton is another railway station that is a good place for train spotting. Shame that CrossCountry arenât using the Class 43 Mk3 HSTs anymore.
This one had been on my list for a while and even on a Sunday there was lots of HST action. Glad I went when I did, I will miss them so.
â Ah ok đ
Taunton railway station is a junction station on the route from London to Penzance, 163 miles 12 chains west of London Paddington station, measured via Box. It is situated in Taunton, Somerset, and is operated by Great Western Railway. The station is also served by CrossCountry trains and by the West Somerset Railway on special event days and by mainline steam excursions.
Do you have any donation or thanks something or anything?
I donât, I may consider consider it in the future if itâs something that a lot of people would like. Thanks Dannii đ
