You both got it wrong she looks exactly like the one girl off of dodgeball the one that was on the Girls Scouts team that was on steroids mustache and all even the Hat matches
In gypsy culture, they usually marry before 18 years old because if they get older they will be "aunties". Its BS, they're just kids.
First cousins have a set of grandparents in common.
Second cousins have a set of great-grandparents in common.
Third cousins have a set of great-great-grandparents in common.
If there are no other intersections in the family tree, they're barely related.

What creeps me out about these male cousins is that they refer to their promised brides as “child” or “girl”. Not once have I heard them say woman, which means they don’t care that these girls are underage AND being auctioned off by their mothers. It just rubs me the wrong way

oN POINT! it’s disgusting and if they recognize that their brides are underaged and don’t care at all, imagine how they will act behind closed doors if they don’t get what they want
Yes, the time honored tradition of being a child bride, teen mom, and living in poverty. Definitely want to continue that one!
Say what you want, but teen moms get their own TV shows
@@mutestingray A TV show isn't going to pull these people out of poverty. Education might give them a chance though
@@mutestingray for every teen mom that lucks out and gets a lucrative TV show contract (and just one episode isn't gonna cut it.. I'm talking bout the girls on MTV Teen Mom/all the spin off series who can making a living off of a show), there's like a 100,000 or more who don't.
Plus it's really delusional to go into a pregnancy as a teenager and think "it's cool, I'll get a show and everything will be okay!"
Those Teen Mom shows were becoming popular like 10 years ago when I was about 18- I was concerned even then that those with low IQs would start becoming teen moms thinking they would get to be on TV and become rich and famous- or using it as their financial contingency plan once they found out they were pregnant, not realistically thinking their & their baby's future (financial and otherwise) out...
Obviously my fears were not unfounded.

@@alexandriahilbert but then again, even people with education don’t ever make it
I notice one common thing in these shows, the mothers are so set on “tradition” and having their daughters married...yet all of the mothers are single. What tradition are they wanting to carry on? Getting married as a kid, get pregnant and then get dumped?
I was actually just thinking the exact same thing. It's sooo messed up. And I hate the excuse of oh it's tradition even though it's sooo toxic.
Yeah! That's because the Male cousins are like I'm out....
Whats weird in this case is that the tradition is only a century old. In terms of tradition thats very little. I guess you have to start somewhere, but they talk about it as a really serious thing
It's like the opposite of normal parenting. Usually you go "My life was hard so I'll make everything to make my child's life easier."
And they are like "My life sucked, so your life is gonna suck too!". Quite immature to say at least
Most of them aren't single they are still married, the husband's are just usually away working. The men travel looking for work while the women stay home and maintain the home.

@DJ Phat Phuck read it again, it does appear my reading comprehension lack serious skill here. I apologize, that is totally my bad. And you are right, a mother will almost always see their daughter as their baby.

Shes a rebellious 16yo. Based on how her mom treats everything shes probably been forced to do what the mom wants for her entire life and thats y she rebels. Forcing her to get married will only make it worse. Controlling ppl doesnt fix anything, it just makes them fight back or run
Her acting out is definitely not the big issue here
"Forcing her to get married will only make it worse" and making her marry her adult cousin on top of that🤮
It's not exactly acting out if her behaviour is all from the mom to begin with. She's just acting the way she's seen her mom act.
She's a *TEENAGER* , of course she's going to be rebellious, that's kind of what teenagers are known for. The solution isn't marrying her off, it's being a f@cking parent and doing some bloody *parenting*! If you keep trying to force your *child* to do things they don't want to, of course they're going to act out!
The weirdest thing is that the mom’s whole personality seems to be being Gypsy. Like there’s no room in her life for anything else except being a Gypsy.
That's not uncommon for most gypsies that I've met at least.
There are a few that don't seem like that but they tend to be exceptions to the rule
Anyone who comes from strong culture is like that😬

I don’t understand how the producers of the show just sit back and watch this happen. Call the police do some thing. But all they’re worried about are ratings
even if they called the police, they wouldn’t be able to do anything cuz it’s legal there. I’ve read somewhere in the comments that she ran away and married + the mum and 2 kids got arrested for a shooting (seems like a 7yo child was involved/ killed)
Call the police and say what?
What the hell are they gonna do. It’s legal there.

It's not legal if the bride doesn't want it. The mother does not have the legal right to force her daughter to marry anyone, at least not here in the US.
I do agree that these are done for ratings which makes me wonder just how legit these "marriages" are. Are these marriages true legal marriages or are they all done for show like in other shows and in movies?
@@sab5076 P sure arranged marriages are legal in some loophole aspect. Else these wouldn't make it to television.

Lol yea like 35 at least!
At least 32 maybe they misplaced the digits.
They always say they're 23. And they're more like 32
I am 42 and look way younger and then he does 🤣
He's probably been smoking and drinking since he was 10 soo..
The should have Chris Hansen show up at the end of every episode.
Uh, yeah. Understatement of the year!
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Uh, no. Chris Hansen was canceled. He’s a scammer sleaze bag. Just look it up here on youtube something like “the truth; Chris Hansen”. He’s a horrible person who shouldn’t be anywhere near victims of physical or mental abuse.e
Fukai Kokoro that’s very true, but I think you missed the point. He did “To Catch a Predator.”
🤣☠️
that super long silent pause followed by "you sittin' them in like a bar stool or?" was everything 🤣
Disguising kicking your child out and forcing her on a male relative as "teaching maturity" is wild
They literally have these kids on the show drinking and they drop out of school at 16. Like where is CPS? I thought kids had to go to school.
I think you can drop out once you hit 16.
I some states, a child can decide to drop out of school once they hit 16 and the parent can't do anything. It's pretty sad how they groom their girls to be uneducated breeders that serve their husband and nothing more.
@@cayk9444 And they groom the boys to accept being the only one in a marriage ever burdened with demands to hold down a job and support self & others with earnings, or else become divorced and homelessness without anyone to financially support you however ill or disabled you get. Well most cultures do that, shaming and romantically rejecting men for the "stay-at-home spouse" excuse for not getting a job but accepting it as legitimate in women - hence most homeless people are men despite far more women being jobless for long periods of time and working fewer hours on average than men - but quite not to the extreme seen here in this culture where there are no women at all willing to get a job and stay with a man who can't earn enough to support both of them. The healthiest person in a couple should work the longest or hardest job, regardless of gender, it's so simple if we cut the primitive reptile-brain instincts and the unquestioned cultural templates left over from ancient times.
@@compulsiverambler1352 true, there are certainly problematic traditions on the men too, without a doubt. But still, unlike the women, the men are still viewed as people, the women are just born to be wives to men and mothers someday. The men are allowed to have fun, socialize, and can have goals, they arent just valued by their genitals.
Yes, sadly a man staying at home raising the kids is viewed as insulting to men and embarrassing, as child rearing is viewed as "women's work" and is an insult for men, while working outside the home ("masculine jobs") are viewed in a positive light.... which really isn't all that different from our "regular" culture sadly. It's ironic because any parent (who actually parents) knows that raising children is the hardest job out there and never ends.
You only have to go up to 8th grafe
Thats the oldest 23 year old i've ever seen.
I am 40 and look younger than him!
I'm 22 and he sure as hell seems like 30s.
@@whoahanant Guuuuuurl I have NEVER seen a 30 year old look so rough.
XD
Meth is one crazy drug 😂🤷🏻♀️
I don't understand how these guys always seem to be okay with this. Have you lost all hope in finding someone you actually love? Being alone for the rest of my life seems more appealing to me than marrying my 16 year old cousin I don't even know.
"If you sit her in a chair and her feet touch the floor, she is ready for marriage"
Ken and Buff: *crickets*
She moved away & got married & had kids the mom & 2 of her sons where arrested for a shooting that injured 3 people one was a 7 year old & they also found drugs in their home I found it threw the comments of the original video
its crazy how this trash delusional person is so damn sure she knows whats better for anyone when her own life is such a mess.
Not surprised; the apple don't fall far from the tree.
Whaattt
She stayed married to the cousin?!
@@jacquelinem9278 she moved away, not with the cousin
The mum is a control freak...boggles my mind how she thinks marrying YOUR COUSIN is okay???
I smell a CPS phone call coming.
She's most likely married to her own cousin tbh.
CPS doesn’t do sh*t
What in the Sweet Home Alabama? This joke isn't really funny in this case because the incestuous marriage is forced.
I'm 32 and my feet don't touch the floor in a lot of the chairs I sit in. Gosh that must explain why I'm not married yet. 😂
I would be so lucky as a gypsy i’m 22 & my feet still don’t touch 😭💁🏼♀️
So humble of Jason Momoa to collab with Ken during these tough times to entertain us 🥺❤️
Sagnik Maity Buff is hotter than Jason!
Hahahahaha
Underrated comment
I feel like they’re just hillbilly’s calling themselves Gypsy’s. There was a show on TLC on arranged marriages and one of the marriages were Gypsy’s and they were nothing like this.
I was thinking the same things...
It’s usually just a colloquial term for traveling people
I believe them. It is a general term for the different travelers around the world, and they dont all act the same. Most now call romania home, but theyve had groups separated for so long that some wont act the exact same.
Plus, they know their 3rd cousins. Do you know yours??
You obviously have no understanding of the long and complicated history of travellers (gypsy is only used by americans). I suggest you do research and befriend some "gypsies" of different nationalities before telling others who is part of a cultural historical group or not 😭😭😭
@@alexanderlittle9786 I do know my cousins. I’m Hispanic and was raised in Mexican culture and in my culture we have close family ties. In my culture we don’t use 2nd or 3rd cousins. We’re just cousins. And if we have cousins linked by marriage then they are extended cousins.
I could never even poke a cousin or any related person romantically without cringing to death
With that beard, the guy looks like he’s in the Amish Mafia
So THAT's why I'm still single... my legs are too short.
Still waiting on that mid-20's growth spurt. 😂😭
Haha right I'm sitting here on my couch and realized my feet can't touch lol I'm 40 so no growing vertically just horizontally 🤣
If I had a choice between in jail or marrying my cousin it will be jail
I'm 24 and 4'11. Either I'm never going to be ready to get married or I'm gonna need to buy a real short chair cuz my feet are not touching the floor.
Try putting a booster seat on the floor and trying.
Yo same
"legal with parental consent" usually ends up meaning parent's coercing children to get married, typically to an adult
"There's nothing else that can be done. She needs to be married" you know what else can be done? Parenting 🤦
Also what's with the predators on these gypsy episodes. The girls are always being forced to try and marry not only at a young age, but marry someone older
i would have no issues with this if they found husbands in their age range, like could this mom really not find at the very least a 18 year old?
@@bluesquiddemon you'd have no issues with forced marriage?
@@beefortebrea9386 it's not forced, the cousin consented to taking her hand in marriage
@@notreal5826 What about her consent?
My question is if she’s not okay with this marriage then what happens during the honey moon? Is she forced to have a sexual relationship with him?
Yes...yes she does...and what do we call that? Assault.
Tyler Tapia this is why I lost faith in humanity
Yup....I honestly hate this world tbh
@@t-tap9109 you mean rape?
@@LittleRainGames I'm guessing that they were referring to sexual assault, which is essentially the same thing.
Goes to meet his cousin and instead he meets Chris Hansen. "Please have a seat" 😂
4:16 Buff's face and then that paaauuuuuse before he drops the mic lol
thought she would say “its either my way or the high way”.
Missed opportunity
Art Instructor exactly 😔
Highway yes please.
My way my way or the high way
This family makes me genuinely uncomfortable.
This is the most ridiculous chain of "I did it and suffered so you have to now too"
