401 Days (Part 1) Sailing & Exploring USA & Bahamas

- The is the beginning of a very big story! The longest time I've consecutively sailed and cruised. The longest time I've lived at anchor, the most fish I've spearfished and eaten. And of course, I did it all with my budget 1984 Beneteau Idylle. Originally bought for $23k, now to me, she's priceless!
This is just the beginning of an epic saga. If you enjoyed this video, please remember to show some support. It means a lot to me. Cheers!

👋🏼New Here?!?👋🏼
Hello & welcome! I'm Daniel aka "Adventureman Dan." I've been living on the edge, from one adventure to another for the past eight years. Stating in Central California with my first GoPro, through SoCal, Baja, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Alaska and throughout the whole USA. But for the past five years on my sailboat "Adventureborne" I'm open to unlimited possibilities of where I can go, and what I can do!

Being an adrenaline junkie is dangerous. It can become mundane dealing with day to day issues like food and rest.
You have an exquisite secondary providing for yourself and crew. Glad you're enjoying youthfulness.
Regards,
Howell
Better than most documentaries I’ve seen. This has it all. I won’t be soon forgetting it.
Bro keep these videos coming. I personally want to see more spearfishing and how sailing allows you to catch your food
That's the plan!
You are very inspirational, and I thank you for making me realize that going out sailing can be done at a much lower price point than I ever expected. I always thought I would never be able to do it as I'm 25 now and still at the beginning of my computer science study. I was trying to figure out how I would save up money, but now i don't worry about it as much, I will just see how much i safe up when the time comes and buy accordingly. As everyone, I would like a cat, but that's only if i got tons of money as i would have to look for at least around 250k for the boat if not a beautiful mono it is. Right now I got 20k saved up which is something, I still don't know how things will turn out but has anyone experience with going sailing coming back for 2 years to work to go out for another 3-4 years of sailing is this a viable option or just me daydreaming as I don't expect myself to be able to work from boat. This summer I will make my dinghy sailor license, so I'm stoked about that, I just hope i get a spot.
You asked if there exists a way to so gracefully ascend out of the water into the air.
1) There's a dingy with a glider wing with an ultralight motor which functions both as a regular dingy and as an ultralight seaplane. Ultralight aircraft like this don't require a license to fly in the US, but some training is a pretty good idea. Some even have retractable wheels, making them capable of landing and taking off from land too.
2) There's pontoons for hang-gliders which can take off from the water when pulled behind a boat and then release from the cable to fly freely.
3) There's a water jetpack.
If you like the way kite surfing feels, you'd love standing on a personal hydrofoil board. There are electric ones now these days which are pretty cool. They're putting foils on everything now. The electric foil bikes will eventually replace jet skis. I saw a dingy with foils that could go 30mph on an e-motor. The closest thing to what you experienced with that kite though would be paramotoring or just paragliding.
Those are some really cool ideas! I especially like the idea of paramotoring! BUT, no as silent as the anchored tow up!
My favorite video of yours yet. Great job Dan! Can't wait to see more!
Awesome! Thank you!
So inspired ..tough to know that I'll never experience such freedom. Id give anything to join you....awesome video bruv❤
I totally want to see more of your adventure. You have absolutely inspired me and my wife to work hard to save money so we can invest right and have dividends paying us while we sail. I hope and know you will inspire many more. But with that said do it at your own pace. I subscribed so I’ll see it whenever you post it. Otherwise get your rest and do what you want to do. Work to live don’t live to work. You won’t ever wish you spent more time making CZcams videos but you will regret not doing one more adventure. Follow your heart and your soul. I will be here when you’re ready.
Well said 👏
man, i never leave comments. but this one desevses it for sure. keep it it up and thank you from the depths of my heart!

I have binged so many of your vids in the past month. Much appreciated man! Hoping one day I can take that leap and liveaboard with my dog. Goon on ya!
Man, what you need is a powered Paraglider, there is an electric version that folds up and would be perfect for your boat, if you like flying, that’s the best and most free form of flying

Love your videos. That's the first one where I see you grow food on your boat. Do you have any video showing more of that in details, like how you do it and what kind of things you grow?
Not yet! But I will be making more!

Always looking for one buddy. Email me, or stay tuned for my upcoming "how to crew" video.

Any plans to cross the Atlantic in the future?
You are the Man Dan🎉 we need more adventurers! Do you have Venmo?
Cheers buddy, please join up on my Patreon page. I'd love to see you there.
What was the depth under the platform when you nailed the snapper?
Do you grow the vegetables and herbs on the boat hydroponically or with soil?
It's sorta both.
hi you are nice guy
I wonder if I can use any of my VA benefits to get something like this going, or to somehow join in on something like this
Balance your music and voice. Music is often too loud. Thank you.
Thank you for the information 🙏
I thought hurricane season starts in june??
Technically, it starts in June. But it's not serious till August.
Did you really dislocate your shoulder?
Keep up the vids but don’t just focus on these videos go for the other opportunity
the loud music is clip bait and obnoxious?
Malato di adrenalina.🤮🤮
Diving into a small hole in anything, even with scuba or nuba gear is stupid and dangerous and people die all the times doing that. It is not cool, nor does it accomplish anything, please ignore this kids idea and never ever do that.
My name is "Adventureman Dan".... not "Isalwayssafeman Dan". Better unsubscribe, there is more adventure ahead. 😀
@@Adventureman_Dan I will watch any sailing video I please. When I see someone trying to save a shark or diving into a small hole or letting their kids near wild monkeys, I type whatever I please.
What you did was stupid. It was not brave, there was nothing to accomplish. It would have been stupid with scuba gear on.
Kids do not dive into small holes or into ships that could catch your swimsuit or gear or or.
The point is to minimize risk not enhance it. Go skydiving that’s safe. This was stupid. And every single person who died this way, and there are many, would tell you how stupid it is.
I went diving in Egypt the day after two divers died doing stupid shit. People die.
When people know what they are doing,it's not dangerous, this Dan man is admirable in more than one way, he is living the life without leaving a foot print, the real life. You most likely would rather have someone eating Mc Donald on a sofa watching cartoons, change the Chanel if it is not for you and learn unstead of blindly critize. Really great young man.
Be open minded helps too......Cheers
Awesome Videos Awesome Lifestyle.
As soon as I can im going to Live Life
