Thanks bro
It all comes down to calories at the end of the day. Stop eating out because resturant food will always be high in calories. Craving a burger? Make a turkey burger at home. Craving pizza? Get some cauliflower crust and fat free mozzarella and make it at home. You don't have to be strict. Just be smart and strategic about it
This guy is so good! Thank you 🙏
@@vosoryanloads of psychological factors behind it imo. But practically, yeah.
AI too good with that thumbnail
Fr
didnt know it was wanhee until i heard the voice😭
The guy in the thumbnail is so cute tho.... even if hes chubby hes totally husband material 🥰
@@william2154 Definitely he’s like human Winnie the Pooh cuddly
I can't get enough of your videos! The editing, the script, everything! You're very inspiring, thank you and your channel for exisiting
Love your view on mind-body focus. You can tell you have done a lot of inner work. I really enjoy listening to your input because even though some concepts I have heard the way you put them together just make so much sense. Thank you for your authenticity.
your words and the way you speak are so relaxing and comforting
man this was so accurate and is actually appliable to all addictions
A healthy lifestyle is something you refine over time - not overnight
I am just in love with your channel, thank you so much for your hard work! You really helps me to improve my body and my personality in general.
The way you explain things really feels like it hits at the heart of my struggles, I've had a long journey with health, nutrition and weight. I haven't found a way to always articulate the challenges but you always seem to be able to put into words what i cant explain myself
glad to see you post again after 2 weeks, also looking foward for the next liberation diary episode...
Love your videos bro, trying to appreciate myself in this journey
I really love this channel. Omg! I think my weight loss journey is going in the right direction by learning his wisdom. Thank you, Wanhee!
Love your videos bro! Very honest and true. It's life changing to watch. Thanks for sharing you experiences and knowledge.
New Wanhee episode? Must watch. Keep up the good work!
The self sabotage factor is one of the hardest and deepest “issues” I have ever dealt with bc it’s so hard to break out of it. When I fight my urges then end up binging or doing anything that’s not coherent with my goals, I get sooo confused and ask myself why tf I keep doing this stuff then complain I don’t achieve my goals… it feels like being trapped in a maze.
I could be wrong but I feel like self sabotaging behavior takes root in the subconscious mind which makes it very difficult to live a day without doing some sort of thing that ruins my progress 😢
In short, I’m addicted to self sabotage bc Although I’m self aware each time I’m doing it, I’ll just keep doing it. It harms me and gives me no satisfaction.Actually, I think it possibly gives me the satisfaction of confirming what my limiting beliefs told me.
Very solid advice as usual, love your videos man !
thanks for the constant banger of videos Wanhee! you the goat! 😃
I started following you about a year ago. You changed my life. Thank you.
I just watched this video because it showed up in my feed, and I found it so surprisingly informative and helpful. Everything said was so true. I need boundaries/‘learn to say no” in life, which I know will lead to changes in other areas of my life, including eating…TY ❤
respect the quality of the video and the effort put into making it a pleasant to consume valuable information
Great video as always! Thank you!!!
This is exactly what I needed to hear, I relate to this way too much
So so good man! 👏🏼 I can totally relate to all of that. I spent the last 30 years being ‘chubby’ with no boundaries!…. Then back in feb 23 my head was ready to make the change, dropped all upf foods, strength training 3-4 times a week (following your very own minimalist routine) & I’ve lost 28lb & the V taper is taking shape. Thank you for your honest words & depth no bs videos 👍🏼
Brilliant work again. The style he does it.
After years of watching nonstop diet and fitness videos on CZcams, I can personally confirm that I can relate with you the most. You’re my true inspiration. Thank you for your work. ❤🎉
the last point really hit home. thank you!
Awesome video, great knowledge and delivery. Thank you. 😊
deep video bro, awesome editing and scripting as well. salute
What a sophisticated, philosophical take. I’m reading Maté now too. And enriching the mind has been equally important as I am enhancing the body. Thank you for this video brother
Love your vids.
Just to clarify, Gabor Mate is not a psychologist. He's a regular doctor, like a GP. He just had decades of experience working with people and noticed the link between emotions and illness. That sent him down a path of investigation of trying to understand how emotions can effect the body to create better outcomes for his patients. 30 years later he's a leading emotional trauma expert.
Really really educational piece of advice...so true. !
This is amazing, I have a daily routine which includes what I’m going to do but until this video I never thought to have a routine as to what I’m going to EAT!
Good video bro! Impactful.
Thank you for this video. Very helpful and informative.
great video as usual bro
Dude! I have watched one of your videos couple of months back. Life changing. I have been trying to find the right method on diets, exercise etc. Dropped significant weight just listening to your advice. Thank you and hats off brother! J- Namibia.
Love you stuff bro. This one is... amazing. I think the last point really hit home for a lot of people. I started my journey 3 years ago, October 2020, by journey I mean being properly serious about getting in shape. I started at 140kgs (around 305lbs), as of today I'm 97kgs (around 213lbs). The goal is to get around 88kgs. What I struggle with the most is consistent dieting. I workout 5-6 days a week, some days heavy and some days light, but on average I burn between 2800-3000 calories a day.
Another fire vid, keep it up!
JUST FACTS, ABSOLUTELY PURE WORK MATE, QUITE INSPIRING.
Thank you for this. So helpful. I feel like I've just been in a good therapy session.
thankyou for this one.
Love this!
7:13 - yep, I had all my systems in place except for my diet, so while I gained a lot of muscle over the years and I always had a big belly. That's changing now that I started prepping my food/tracking cals.
This one was deep! Wanhee tells it like it is :)
This is incredible… I can fully relate
Amazing video, thank u so much!
Me making a hot chocolate while you’re talking about no liquid calories 💀
This might be my favorite video you have ever done.
Super great video.I relate to everything that you said.
I needed this
Excellent, informative video. Just subscribed 🌟
Spot on
God dam dude! You are so amazing! Thank you so much for these wonderful insightful episodes!
The setting boundaries point is actually sooo legit
you are describing all the ways of how I got fat. I'm gonna try to fix all of the points you raised up.
the last one hit deep.
Bro the shit you talk about is so real and useful
All the points are awesome buddy. I would also add the most underrated thing which most people don't do is proper 7-9 HR sleep every single day.
At first i was triggered by the thumbnail because its seems off or clickbaity, but then again, it was a lived experience of yours that you wanna share. ❤
I like how he focuses on skinny fat. It’s such a frustrating problem with body improvement.
I feel like you actually know my life with these advice. This video was so eye opening. Thank you
This video was amazing
That lat bullet point hit hard, didnt expect to cry tonight ;-;
I’m lean but I’m so scared of gaining weight so I like watching these videos. Liquid calories is no joke. I mainly drink only water for this reason
Nah this thumbnail is legendary
Great content and love the direction and momentum.
Anyone have timestamps for the 8?
I agree with liquid calories hack, it helped me a lot, and you started to hate the taste of sugar in drinks after awhile. But I think drinking a simple latte is fine, at least better than the sugary options.
I cried during the last part of this video 😪
I'm 143.2 pounds (5' 6''') and currently only struggle with frequent snacks. I usually snack on dark chocolate, nuts, and fruit. I'm also at a plateau...the way the body clings onto fat for "survival" purposes is so frustrating.
A lot to think about. You seem to have mastered what you teach.
Very relatable
I noticed my emotional eating 2 months ago and Im trying to fix it as best as I can. But its beeb really hard. I would eat like 5 meals a day if Im really stressed out. My stresses and anxiety would melt away if I just have to eat whatever I want. If I try to resist the urge of overeating, my anxiety would skyrocket and I couldnt do anything anymore. Ive been trying to fix it by finding other activities that I enjoy to replace it. But there were still times I couldnt resist. It felt like something just tookover me and automatically happened. I cry sometimes because I felt I couldnt have control over myself.
You're the GOAT maan
As someone who is 178 and 57, I see this video as an absolute win
Woah that last part hit me like a ton of bricks 🫢
You can have a day or two without limits (or less limit) but the frequency of those days is a factor.
Also large calories items in limit with low calorie/no calorie nutrients makes a major impact. Have cookies and rutabaga instead of cookies and bread.
Very true
That thumbnail is funny lol
Great video as always tho
all 💯 true
I think you are spot on with these and I think it is both honest and brave to put this out there....
However I dislike that term emotional eating. Just think about this situation: someone is going shopping and before they leave they ask if there's anything you would like. Like being a feeling or emotion. If you reply without emotion to that it would have to be something like: I need 3 pound of groceries, 10% protein, 10% fat and the remaining 80% should be slow release carbohydrates. Legumes and coliflower are in season. See you later.
Food is emotional!😊
Can you do a list video of healthy habits to follow
Watching this to find out how to bulk more.
If I’m unsure about calorie intake, I’ll lean towards underrating, rather than overeating. Just make sure every meal is 20-40 grams of protein
I snack a lot less when I only eat dinner(still less than my daily maintenance by a ton) A big dinner I don’t want to eat I’m only thirsty for water for hours. I only eat something I make. I eat a lot less to save time cooking. I lost and kept off everything I loose 11:18 I found my moment talking with parents on a visit. Took years of deconstructing childhood situations, and it really was just one careless comment acting as mortar, a net, holding all these events together, the sieve that didn’t let the last bit of bigger things through. This is your killer but to get to it you have to give yourself control first like the video says and these simple tips are the best start.
its been a weird year for me, this 1 year i lost to about 118 kg from 140kg, its kinda weird now that i hate being full, i always force to threw up when i feel full, its a very bad habit, and i wish to learn to remove this habit, and follow this guide.
would love if you talked more about how you quit smoking !
I would love a whole video on how to stop emotional eating :/
I am %90 sure 2 hours of running definitely exceeds 600 calories burned for the vast majority of people.
Light jogging at a 10-12 minute mile pace burns anywhere from 500-1000 calories an hour. Most of the variance is due to bodyweight. A 150 pound person burns about 700 calories an hour. Two hours of jogging would burn off about 9 cans of Coke.
I don’t believe people when they downplay the calories burned from steady state cardio. The amount of calories I burned as a cross country runner was absurd. I got back into running, and in just a couple weeks I have a more lean appearance.
i always find myself eating before i work out just because of habit, not because i’m hungry, how do you feel about fasted weight training?
600 calories is about 1 hour of running
What pull-up bar and dip bar do you use at your home for the body weight workout ?
Wanhee what bodyfat range do you stay at usually? Ive gotten to 10% but i always feel tired lethargic and sleep is bad, how do you deak with this?
i just need someone to workout with or remind each other that we cant slack. cus wht i say to my self be kinda meaning less cus i always talk to my self
I have been training for 10 years and still feel like I look terrible.
I'm just cutting until I can see my abs, already went from 183lbs to 160lbs but I probably have to lose another 15lbs of fat to be lean.
We underestimate how much fat is on our bodies
Maybe you do. If you can pinch it you can lose it.
Man i wished this video came out yesterday cuz i just had a chocolate truffle because my brother brought home two packs of them and i ate two when i was bored
Thanks for the video , can you do a video on how you quit smoking and thanks
I like how the title says “chubby”, it makes me feel cute not fat. 😂
I'm currently on week 4 of cutting, I just feel like I want to binge eating all the time...
You forgot to mention kombucha as a great alternative to drinks
No.5 hitting me hard..
the thumbnail sent me 🤣🤣🤣🤣
