Portugal has been in my top 5 from the beginning. I'm genuinely stunned that its not even been in the top 10 qualifying odds for this semi! It's sailing through to the final 🇵🇹
Portugal has got to qualify, it looks stunning and stands out. Also loved Ireland and Ukraine's rehearsal clips.
Ireland Ukraine Croatia, Portugal were the standouts for me. Them 4 should be sure fire qualifiers
After the rehearsal Portugal and Ireland are SAFE qualifiers in my opinion especially Portugal really stood out after the streak of rather weak songs before
When i saw Portugal clip i was jumping up and down. So f..g good...
As far as I know Raiven starts on floor covered with fog and stage is like a reflection in the river + everythinh is giving night vibes (like in OMV) then it gets brighter (clouds and stuff) probably as metaphor for reincarnation of Veronika amd symbol of hope, freedom and independence

I love your reviews so much ❤ I kind of agree 100% with your opinions on the songs, I love Portugal, Slovenia and Lithuania so much and your reaction to Portugal was everything 🥰 Such a sweet and honest young man. I am from Iceland and there is zero chance we are going to qualify, so disappointed with our choice this year, Bashar, Sigga or even Anita and Vibe would all have done better. Loved the energy and look of Croatia, Ukraine and Serbia really beautiful, Irland is at least doing something new so I hope they are qualifying, I am not sure if Cypress will make the cut, same with Australia, Azerbaijan has it’s charm but on the fence, I really dislike the look of Thalia, both hair and costume but song is ok, I want them to qualify since they are coming back after all this time, Poland is so weird it’s like they are throwing everything in these 3 minutes 😂😂 Yes this is what I think (I am just an old (52) lady from Iceland that loves Eurovision 😊

visually i like Ukraine, Ireland, Moldova, Poland. Portuguese song isn't my fav but coreo is interesting for the beginning.., but these are just rehearsals, we don't know who else might be the big surprises. However, i'm quite sure that Ukraine is gonna win again and why not, their song is good, staging stands out.❤

I am very happy for Portugal. Even though I am not a fan of the song that performance is stunning! Same actually goes for Ukraine. Also Ireland is elevated by this performance. Still none of them are in my top 10 though.
NQs is semi 1: Moldova, Iceland, Australia, Luxembourg. And I also fear for Cyprus - partly because of her vocals (although they seemed good in this clip) but mostly because of an unfortunate mix of countries in this semi.

The theme for this year seems to be Scifi and Fantasy 😆.
For me Ukraine is giving winner vibes from that clip, and Lithuania, Ireland (this was maybe the best clip with Ukraine), Finland, Croatia (camer angles were too shaky and messy so i got feeling this won't win), Portugal and Luxembourg are fairly sure qualifiers.
The other performances were mostly good as well, but none of them is giving me sure qualifier feeling. Portugal imo is winning the "ballady battle" between Serbia and Portugal and Serbian being in second slot kind of makes me think it wont qualify. Iceland is maybe the only one im 100% won't qualify. Even Moldova has made such nice looking stage i won't fully count it out yet. I feel Poland entry being quite meh, but people are saying they qualify because of the Poland people living across Europe so idk. I would much rather have Slovenia qualify instead of Poland. Someone from the Moldova-Azer-Australia line up surely qualifies as it is near the end of running order.
And all Windows95man "only beautifull women, and Spanish men are allowed half-naked" -haters are going to be disappointed when it surely goes to final, atleast after that clip as even w95man has improved his vocals, and they probably intentionally chose to show the start where Henri isn't singing much as he has improved even more since UMK final. Also the way he sings (or speaks) made it sound even more like fairytale/story, as it is kind of theme of the song if you spend some time trying to understand the meaning of the performance as it has quite deep meaning under the "funny joke" cover.

Maybe it’s just the fact that the arena is empty, but I was quite underwhelmed for a lot of the performances… almost everything feels very distant and kind of empty somehow… I’ll blame it on either the huge stage almost nobody is fully using, or the wide/far out shots, that for some reason so many entries are using even though they generally don’t look good (except for with Lithuania). Or maybe it’s both.
