Tapasya episode 55 SDN Lalitha - Online batch
This episode is an overview of SDN's experimentative online classes that commenced in January 2021. SDN's Online batch (LALITHA) is a new venture with one-to-one classes conducted by teachers of SDN, to handpicked students.
Our goal, in this venture, is to impart training in the same methodology and pace that we follow for students in regular classes at SDN. We believe in quality over quantity, and we are currently NOT accepting any new admissions for online classes.
Tapasya - the training sessions, is a series of videos that will be published on a monthly basis (as episodes) on the last day of every month.
The students featuring in Tapasya series have about 6-8 classes every month. Each episode of Tapasya is a cumulative overview of what is taught to them during the course of the month.
Along with the training sessions of the children, Tapasya also holds inputs on teaching techniques from Smt. Sheela Unnikrishnan and useful tips from the regular performers of Sridevi Nrithyalaya.

Our productions uploaded in social platforms are for the art lovers worldwide to WATCH and ENJOY but definitely not for copying or reproducing without SDNT's authorisation.
SDNT has unanimously derived to this strong conclusion. Therefore, SDN or any individual from SDN would be not to able to grant anyone permission to reproduce our work of any form.
At 14:36 is my little niece and sister. I can vouch for what they say... There is absolutely no compromise with quality or commitment / dedication. Seeing how sincere the teachers are, it's no wonder that the students automatically want to go the extra mile and aim at excellence. My five year old niece behaves like the president of the 'Kameshwari akka and sdn' fan club & we're only too happy that she's exposed to such ennobling influences at such a young age. I have been shifted from kolkata to Mumbai and now taking and having online classes only.. I am happy to see that my teaching technique is not so different than SDN.. Although I learned a lot new stuff from this video.. Sending my respect to All the teachers of SDN..

From my personal experience I have found out that
"The best way to learn anything is to teach it!"
I know it sounds really contradictory but it is true!
We can't teach anything unless we know it thoroughly.
So we become thorough in learning while we are teaching.
I knew that SDN has been producing World Class Dancers.
Today I came to know that SDN is producing World Class Teachers as well!
The name and fame of SDN will live forever and grow stronger day by day!
I have one doubt though!
Teaching on the basis 'one to one' ratio will be really time consuming!
Have you devised any plans to save the precious time of these pretty teachers??

The strength of our online class will not exceed 15 students. Each SDN Teacher is given a student / students according to their available time.
We are not extending extra time or number on roll for this batch. We hope to justify our stance as Teachers and trust that each student will flourish along with us 🙏🏽

Hi Mam. I am from Chennai, Mylapore. I really like your classes and your teaching. But Vadapalani is very far from our area. So is there any online classes for children who are in Chennai but far from Vadapalani?
Me and my sister use to travel from Villivakkam to Rajaannamalaipuram in 1990s. We had to take two busses to reach our dance class. ‘Too far’ is not at all a factor nowadays… 😊
