- Hello everyone! Welcome to my channel! In this video I will be making CALDOU It is so popular and very simple to make. CALDOU is enjoyed mostly by Gambians and Senegalese. All you need to make this simple dish are:
Any fish of your choice. But the main fish use in Gambia is called "Wass"
Fish
Onions
1 large Fresh tomatoe
Habanero peppers
Seasoning cubes
Black pepper 1Tbls
Salt to taste
4 Gloves of garlic
Fresh Lime or Lemon juice
1 to 2 cups of water
Fresh Okra
Salted fish optional
Bitter tomatoes /Jahato optional
Boiled white rice.
Follow the recipe step by step and you will be on your way in making yourself a delicious CALDOU.
