The sound is all good today. I bought a set of the wheel hangers, best thing ever, Maserati has big tires and wheels. I have an 08 QP. I have the rattling Varrators also, looking forward to seeing you do the pre oiler. I bought mine also as an insurance right off, but not a flagged ownership. Someone didn't like the paint and keyed all the way around, wrote off due to paint costs. It's black so from a few feet away, can't tell. Now I don't have to worry about where I park...lol. Enjoying the videos, keep up the good work, too bad about no cats... 😂, cheers from Canada.
Thanks, I do like the QP, nice feature they did on Top Gear with the sound. Just struggling with fitting the pre oiler now, not sure if it will make any difference, but will let you know as soon as I do. Might be a couple of weeks before I run her as probably will do transmission while she is on ramps and jacks.

I installed the accumulator today, won’t know if it is any good for a couple of weeks as I am doing engine mounts and gearbox service at the same time. Not much fun being under the car in all this wind though, small bouts of action interspersed with tea and crackers.
Evening ! Looks like you're having a blast 'pottering'. The Lancia is coming along. Hopeful to have the subframe, gearbox and engine back in this week. Been quite intense on it and it's been enjoyable but bloody expensive which was surprising. I thought a small car it would be cheap but it seems exclusivity overules pricing. I did consider doing a CZcams channel on it's initial purchase and rebuild but not convinced I'd be great in front of a camera but you seem to be doing just fine in that respect - keep up the good work@@SailingSVPipedream

I reckon you should give it a go with CZcams, I suspect you may be a good presenter and if nothing else, you end up with a video diary that you can look back on in the future. It’s also a good way to store your videos and pictures for free!
Im a big fan I had a 3.2 GT when they first came out awesome cars chap I hope you keep her and do more vids. I also have an Engineering (Electronics and Software ) and am old school. Usually fixing everything myself and making it better to boot. @@SailingSVPipedream

I've been looking at spacers as I have the front wheels off at the mo, cheap set on ebay for under £60 pr but something is telling me to buy a well known brand. I have run 30mm spacers on my Disco 2 for over 5 years with no issues whats so ever, however that doesn't do 150mph on the autobahn officer.

This guy has cheaper spacers, I think some on the forums used them, but not sure : www.tooleauto.com/granturismograncabrio-m145-07-19 , they may be good, but I had already bought mine so have not researched them. I like my wheels sticking out, I always put wide offset rims on my cars because its not illegal here (or if it is, its not policed) and its not really about the look, I always buy the widest tires I can find/afford and then find rims to fit them and there is always space to sick out but not tuck in because they hit the suspension. I like my cars low and wide with fat wheels, like go-karts and its ok if people laugh cause I have traction and it wont tip over.
I guess they are aiming at an international market and English is the most popular second language. i remember working in France in a marina and a German couple came in. They could not speak French and my German is limited to names of bits for houses. So they talked to me in English and then I translated that into my rather poor French. It must get rather confusing in Strasbourg, they have a whole army of translators.

That's true, perhaps they just chose B. I am not sure about the kerbing, it is only 25mm and I am very careful with mine anyway (although my rims really need refurbing). On my Volvo I have Falkens with rim protectors. The other day I accidently (well would not do it on purpose!) reversed into a concrete block that tore a big chunk out the sidewall, but the Rim was fine. I am not sure if you can get similar rim protecting tyres for the GT, I have Pirellis at the moment and apparently we can chose Michelins.@@drahcir6590

After driving the model T with 3.5” wheels, I can appreciate what you mean! There is something comforting about wide wheels.
