    vv. 1-10 (The Empty Tomb)
Jesus rose from the dead just like He said and Mary Magdalene went to see the tomb, she went to Peter and the others, and then both John and Peter ran but John outran Peter.
Peter went in first and then John, we believed in the resurrection. The clothes were folded up, just like the Jews would make with a napkin to say they would be back. Unlawful to come close to the dead.
vv. 11-18 (Jesus and Mary Magdalene)
Mary was crying, saw two angels, and thought that Jesus was the gardener but did not recognize Him, possibly because His body was glorified. The same thing happened with two other followers in Luke 24.
When Jesus said her name, she recognized His voice and called Him Rabboni, He told her not to hold onto Him because He had not yet ascended to the Father. She then told the others.
vv. 19-23 (Jesus appears to His disciples)
Jesus appeared inside the disciples’ locked room and greeted them with peace, breathed on them to receive the Holy Spirit, if we forgive others they are forgiven, if not then they are not forgiven, the context is being sent out like an apostle.
Go and preach the Gospel, people should know the Good News to know they are forgiven.
    vv. 24-29 (Jesus and Thomas)
Jesus showed Thomas His hands, feet, and side, to prove his resurrection and Thomas was confirming the sacrifice. He called Him, my Lord and my God. Blessed are those who believe and yet do not see.
vv. 30-31 (Purpose of this Gospel)
Jesus performed many other signs that are not recorded, but these are hand-picked and written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and have life in His Name.
