Lyrics:
You and I got somethin
But it's all and then it's nuthin to me, yeah
And I got my defenses
When it comes through your intentions for me, yeah
And we wake up in the breakdown
With the things we never thought we could be, yeah
I'm not the one who broke you
I'm not the one you should fear
We got to move you darlin'
I thought I lost you somewhere
But you were never really ever there at all
And I want to get free
Talk to me
I can feel you falling
And I wanted to be
All you need
Somehow here is gone
I am no solution
To the sound of this pollution in me, yeah
And I was not the answer
So forget you ever thought it was me, yeah
I'm not the one who broke you
I'm not the one you should fear
We got to move you darlin
I thought I lost you somewhere
But you were never really ever there at all
And I want to get free
Talk to me
I can feel you falling
And I wanted to be
All you need
Somehow here is gone
And I don't need the fallout
Of the past that's in between us
And I'm not holding on
And all your lies weren't enough to keep me here
And I want to get free
Talk to me
I can feel you falling
And I wanted to be
All you need
Somehow here is gone
And I want to get free
Talk to me
I can feel you falling
I know it's out there
I know it's out there
And I can feel you falling
I know it's out there
I know it's out there
Somehow here is gone, yeah
I know it's out there
I know it's out there
Somehow here is gone, yeah

When they released Gutterflower, afterwards they were depressed after the tour was over and on the verge of disbanding. When they realized the reason was because they weren't truly "home", they decided to go back to Buffalo. They held the concert right here, and you can clearly see on John and Robby's faces that they were glad to be truly home, reconnecting with their friends and the people of Buffalo who admire them so much. There is truly nothing better than going back home, and it gave them the renewed energy to continue, and the band has now been around with John and Robby for over 30 years. Both are Fathers, happily married, and live in or close to home. Last time I read about John, he and Melina with their daughter Lilliana reside in New Jersey while Robby and Miyoko with their daughter Hanna live in Buffalo.
@KyoKonKyoChin I always thought Robby was a prick even in the early days when I would go see them in Buffalo/Toronto etc in the late 80's. I thought George and Johnny were good guys have not seen them since 1995 at a small club in Toronto "Name" was picking up steam and they blew up not long after that I mean good for them I don't remember if I saw them with Mike maybe one time. It seems they treated George and Mike badly which is sad money, fame and ego is a bad combo. I tried to contact Robby many times years ago through Facebook I think can't remember but in any case he knows who I am and so does Johnny I never heard back from Robby no surprise.
Ya I remember John talking about how Big Machine was written about how they moved to LA and the culture shock he felt. Good to see how getting back to home really brought out the best in them. Love these two💪
this show is my Roman Empire
I'm more impressed with the quality of the equipment for not getting electrocuted, especially the mic
16 years later now, I am still amazed!
Im not an old fan as, old as you, but im amazed and I love them
Hard rain....the show must go on......dedicated musicians. True pros.
I missed this concert, but my sister and brother told me about it. This was played free by a Buffalo band in super heat and humidity, then came a crashing rainstorm, and they came out and played this marvelous show, threatened with electrocution. Well done boys, you do live up to Buffalo's rep.
John is the most down to earth guy ever, I swear to god.
Not only did he got shit growing up, and end up doing shit things himself, but he was always real about it, and pulled through.
Such a cool band.
Amen, he's straight up right put of a cracker jack box. It's always something different in the bottom. Every young girl hoped it would be a black bracelet or a diamond. LOL
First celebrity crush of my teenage years!
So many great songs by these guys, Long Way Down, Name, We Are the Normal, Slide, Iris, Naked, Big Machine, Black Balloon, Come to Me especially, but Here is Gone hits differently... so great, especially live.
My favorite band, they are so underrated!!
He was so handsome!! The music is perfect!
John under the rain 😍😍🤐
Easily in my top 5 favorite Goo songs..Idk why but I've always loved it.
The rhythm guitarist is having one hell of a time
He was one of their best.
Goo Goos Live in Buffalo, one of my favorite CDs/vids....hard to believe their music could get better, but live for the GGD sounds better to me...
😫 John taking the rain is perfect, he was born for that. Please GGD, start doing the concerts in the rain, for the sake of women. 😍❤💥💥💥

I always say this is one of the best concerts ever performed. July 4th, circumstance around the weather, hometown, strong band performance and the rain during here is gone and Iris are amazing time stand still moments

I love you Jhon, Robby, and Mike
Unfortunately Mike departed the band at the end of 2013 after being in the band since December 1994. He was their drummer on A Boy Named Goo, Dizzy Up the Girl, Gutterflower, Let Love In, Something For the Rest of Us, and Magnetic. Their drummer is now Craig McIntyre.
@@mattkowal90 He didn't depart. They fired him. No idea why.
Giving new meaning to singing in the rain

If you Cillian Murphy had a brother there he is.
Thanks for this! I thought I was the only one who thinks this! hahaha!
🤗
It's like when I sing in the shower.
🚿
COME TO HOUSTON HOUSE OF BLUES
Electric shocks would have added some real energy.
Why do you guys think they never "broke" the ceiling of world-wide popularity, even in the US they're called the "best-known unknown band" ...why is that? Music is great, vocals awesome..is it because they had two vocalists but all the singles were generated by John's vocals?
I'm Japanese. I love this song.
And to think half the "bands" now will cancel their show if its cloudy....
Very trueee 😄
I just saw a band (I won't mention) who stopped playing when it was sprinkling. They said the could get electrocuted .
What panzy ass**......play em this tape.
choice
And I want to get free...talk to me
I thought he only played Taylor acoustics because of their endorsement? I think the Guild looks and sounds way better.
Tempo is bit fast because of the rain imo. =D
Could've been live performance adrenaline as well. Especially since it's their hometown!! :-)
Plugged? Cmmon...
Sounds Fkd.
