As a BIONICLE fan, I’m disappointed LEGO cancelled this license. Hero Factory was awesome and underrated! The 2014 sets were… a choice. Maybe one day Hero Factory will return.
😭I wish I kept my Hero Factory sets!!! I would say the same thing with Bionicle except the Bionicle parts would break over time. My favorite series were the first sets released. All six of them were my favorites. I had most of the sets. If only LEGO wouldn’t let money control their decisions.

It was never going to be as good as Bionicle when it was announced. But damn did it introduce arguably the best constraction system. Just a shame lego never actually did anything special with it.

As a little kid, I always wanted them to do like a UCS set for their Hero Headquarters. Of course, I didn't understand UCS or any terminology; but I saw those big Star Wars sets and always wanted one that size for Hero Factory, but with those minifigure size heroes and their white iconic headquarter building. Man, that would be kick ass even today.
Man hero factory had so much potential I feel like they didnt use it to its fullest potential the advertisment was they build heroes yet there were only 6 sure we got 3 more later on but they could have made every wave different new heroes every wave would have made great because after a while the villains toys were more interesting than the heroes because you would already have like 3 versions of the same heroes already
I think they were more encouraging kids to build their own heroes and have their own adventures, and considering how linear most Lego themes are nowadays, I can't help but appreciate that
@@dunkanbulk14 that's definetly true but they could have introduced more head molds atleast because it's hard to make your own character when you have 3 furno head molds.
You know what I wanna do?, make a stop motion series called the outcasts, the concept is a G2 bionicle (protecter of the jungle) goes to a new home (mine), and me builds him and he loved his new home but it is quite noisey, but who cares?, then my mom orders a new one, (Nex 3.0) then days later he comes and me is excited, but the protecter was depressed about it, so he sits sadly but his owner still loves him so puts him to his window in his room, doing a waving and sitting pose, that's the concept so far, also this is a prototype so it could get better soon when I get the others like surge 2.0 and one of the toa hordikas, guess it I dare ya but that's it for now so look at it and be happy or dissatisfied of it, the opinion is yours :)

It was mainly cause invasion from below did terribly with reception and sales
Plus, hero factory was just a test to see if no one liked bionicle or the constraction toys

Facts, it’s a shame these get so slept on. The prison break sets were damn near perfect.
Rocka was my favorite set in that series as well as Surge, Stormer and the Motorcycle guy.
