@@kristian5821 not true lowering usually costs between 300 to 1000 exhaust is around 60 plus lights are around 300 and body kits are like 2000
@@CarsWithSam24 if you look hard enough you can buy some second hand joms or something for a very little amount of money, 60 is cheap and you can make your own body kit for very little too
@@CarsWithSam24 lowering springs are nowhere near 1000. You can get springs starting at £50…not that they’ll be fantastic but if you’re going for looks over comfort for some reason then that’s a good place to stsrt

You need to paint the tire letters with the tire mounted on the car. This ensures the tire is flexed while painting. If you paint then mount, the paint will also flex after a while will cause cracking and paint failure unfortunately. Just a tip :)

Should of saved for a car first
those plastic trim on the sides are for contact with another car, in example if someone open their car door too much it will hit your trim on the sides and no damage will be made
So I thought this too, but it's not on the widest part of the door, so it doesn't actually do its job!
@@CarsWithJB Well, it does if you bump in to a corner of a building or something. Don't ask how I know.

Should I engine swap a v10 into my VW 2008 can also planning on adding a double decker spoiler for “down force”
Don't forget to match that with a quadruple diffuser

Amazing and will spoken video. Finally someone not too into going overboard with mods or stickers. I like how said a well placed accesory ans showed carbon fiber sode view mirror and half painted, made a considerable difference.

There is I just made one on my channel go ahead and watch it AA4Yoy.
The best looking "mod" I ever had was a debadged rear end on my Alfa 156, completely removed all the letters and numbers but also ripped out the AR badge and welded it shut to be completely flush and flat with the rest of the trunk. It makes the car look SO much better (not all cars though, depends on how big the area is, for example a Golf MK4 will look bad imo because of how much unused space there is without anything on the trunk so a blacked out badge on that could improve the looks)

I wanted the steering wheel to match wood trim on my Volvo v50. A replacement wheel would have cost several hundred quid but
while trawling for a wood wheel I found a wood finish wheel cover for £11. I think it matches the wood trim and I think it looks great. 🇬🇧

Can get a replacement fuse relatively easy, just work out what one you need!

If you want to make a wood grain finish you can paint whatever you want the finish on with a wood brown spray paint, let it dry, and then use a bristle brush with some wood stain and lightly brush over the part you painted. There are videos for doing it with different color combinations so you can see the right technique. I did it to some interior pieces and it actually looks pretty authentic. It didnt cost that much either

If u want to improve your interior get seat covers, floor mats, a steering wheel cover and seat belt covers. They really make it look sporty and good

Nice video man, have you considered getting some fresh bolts and washers for the front number plate, could literally cost pence and would prevent dripping rust look. You could even got them in black to match the grill. Keep up the content :)
I really do need them, it's been on my extended to-do list for quite some time at this point! When I'm allowed out of the house I'll be taking the bumpers off anyway so might as well do it then

I work for JLR, and as for number 4 we have them plastic trims as optional extras on our new cars. I recall fitting them on a brand new Discovery 5 (and it looked hideous) but clearly people still want them

@@CarsWithJB I believe their purpose is for when somebody hits the car with their door it hits the plastic trim and not the paintwork - which is one reaosn people might choose to have them which I understand however they still dont look great.

good ideas , I will use some of it :D
Untill now , on my mazda 6 , I had put LED light for on top of the lights ,they'r white and when i use the signal flows yellow . Interior lights under the seats and in front (leg position) , paint the tyres (but i didn't read the description of white marker , and it was for glass :)) so after the first rain , the paint starts to disapear) .
what I will do next ... i will add twin exhaust pipe , i will set a rear spoiler with carbor fibre , and I am looking for some preety decals , I will made it , i want it to be original and I will change the air filtre with sport one ,

That cheap dead trim is there to protect those parts from bumps and dings 😅 my car however doesn’t have it in a position that it looks ugly in
My mirrors however are the same colour as the car

How to prep my car door trims for painting ? Is it enough to sand them down and put primer and paint them ?
That “dead trim it’s normally put at the hight where most scratches from opening a door and tapping a flat surface

id go over the grey trim parts with a gloss black to match the roof, thats my plan for the lockdown soon. also, corsa splitters can be fitted onto the front of these

I would advice not getting aluminium valve caps as they tend to corrode and eventually “weld” them selfs to the valve stem resulting in great difficulty removing and in some cases need to replace the valve all together. Hope this helps anyone

The trim things are for protection of your car I think, so when someone opens their door it hits the trim part not the actual car
So I did think this might be the reason, but they're not on the furthest extremity of the doors, so they don't actually hit anything!
That trim keeps dirt and mud from coming up and getting on your handles and on the upper part of your car it works very well my 90,000$ Mercedes has that same trim

I got a white Micra k 12 with a custom purple shade little lipped wing looks better then it sounds but nothing else is being done as can't find parts 😂
I’ve got the 6C 1.8 Polo GTI, Have a Maxton V2 diffuser, Lowering springs, Michelin ps4 tyres all round, Non res Catback system, Forge Dump valve... in terms of little Mods, Sprayed my chrome badges gloss black, Red overlays on the GTI badges, Carbon seatbelt covers and carbon door lock covers, Forge Sticker in rear passenger window and also changed Fogs to White LED’s and replaced the full number plate units with Led units with resistors, and finally swapped out standard plates from dealership with clean 3D gel plates looks the dogs bollocks now

Depends - there are loads of mods you can do which are reversible, so maybe if you're worried about resale just do them?
