    Thanks for sharing. I accepted a load with a metal container from rails but damaged so it cannot go on chassis. My step deck is 1 foot lower than deck at warehouse and I'm stuck at this site because I don't have my own set of ramps and this company doesn't either...my stupidity won this time😮😬😭

      @RandeeLewis  Před 3 lety +1

      If your trying to be sick height you can drive onto some dunnage to raise trailer or inflate your air bags if possible or drive into something solid

    • @RandeeLewis
      @RandeeLewis  Před 7 lety +2

      +James Harris yes I did reefer first and it was just to boring sitting at places for hrs at time and I don't like the early morning middle of night delivering..I haven't done liquid tanks but I did sand tanker in oil field and they just run u to hard no life n middle of nowhere all the time..I enjoy Flatbed work n driving during the day n sleeping at night

    Is important to have both ramps or can you do with just one set of ramps

    • @RandeeLewis
      @RandeeLewis  Před 3 lety +2

      Need 4 to be good..2 will be to steep to drive anything on and off..4 gives you the room to level it out for easy loading

    Hey brother I am trying to start in the flat bed business.
    I have a reefer now.
    I'd like to buy a flat bed.
    What do you recommend me to get?
    Is the step deck really a lot better than regular flat bed trailers?
    If so,Please tell me why,I want to learn and whatever you can tell me helps.
    Thank you in advance, God bless you brother.

    • @RandeeLewis
      @RandeeLewis  Před rokem +1

      I prefer Stepdeck..it opens you up to wide range of loads especially taller stuff that flatbed limits you on..good luck
