Nie zgodzę się z "Ricia". Disco polo skończyło się na bayer fullach itp. W ogóle słyszałaś kiedyś "majteczki w kropeczki"? Disco polo wywodzi się wprost z muzyki folkowej, i jedyne co potrzeba do disco polo to niekoniecznie umiejący śpiewać koleś, keyboard i słaby tekścik zapętlony. Dziś prawdziwego disco polo już nie uświadczysz. teraz to jest naprawdę muzyka popularna (pop) . Zaznaczam że nie jestem fanem tego gatunku ani discopolo aczkolwiek nie mam żadnego problemu żeby potańczyć sobie z miłą przy takich kawałkach . P>S> Nigdy nie wybaczę tym co z zajebistego radia grającego tylko polską muzykę zrobili śmietnik ( Radio WaWa R.I.P (*) ).

VAHOVSKA powiem Ci, że ja już od dłuższego czasu nie słucham radia, a muzykę puszczam na YT (metal symfoniczny, gothic metal, power metal, od czasu do czasu powspomina się nastoletnie lata, kiedy słuchało się trance), więc nawet nie wiem do jakiego gatunku zalicza się jego utwory.

Please, English-speaking CZcamsrs. We learn how to speak and pronounce words in your language. So, please, sacrifice 5 or less minutes to search how the words are pronounced in other countries, and don't complain "I don't know how to pronounce it", cause for sure not how you do it.

Wiesz polskie dźwięki są dużo trudniejsze od angielskich, ale poza tym w różnych językach występują różne dźwięki i tak jak dla wielu Polaków dźwięk "e" w słowie men I słowie man jest prawie nie do rozróżnienia i jeszcze trudniejszy do poprawnego wypowiedzenia to dla wielu obcokrajowców sz ś i s brzmią praktycznie tak samo, a zwłaszcza dla osób które polskiego nigdy się nie uczyły.
Wiem. Doświadczenia niektórych youtuberów z wyzwaniami typu "Australijczyk/Kanadyjczyk/Amerykanin próbuje mówić po polsku" pokazują jednak, że można przynajmniej próbować a nawet się zbliżyć. Nie chodzi o idealne odwzorowanie- nie bądźmy tyranami- chodzi o respektowanie innego języka i mówienie tak, żeby krew nie ciekła z uszu. Tu im wystarczy google translate.

ok but in poland english is second language that we start lern kindergarten in other countreis maybe not, we lern english cuz we need, they didnt need it but they lern for example spanish, french Did u lern how to read other language when u need to tell one word in this language?
dont have to read any rules of pronounciation, all You need is to hit the google translator, put the word in the box and finally click on a button just to hear potencially apropriate pronounciation. Obvious thing is not everybody can pronounce some letters or phrases and nobody complains bout that. What we mean is just to get close to apropriate sound which is completely enough. But although all the problems on the planet - just speak your mind and be kind to one another ;) Peace!

Hi! 😁 I'm polish girl and I was curious which polish song you chose and I'm a little bit dissapointed. I know that it's hard to choose the one group from one type of music but I can asseverate you that we've got more talented groups in Poland 😉 I love Dawid Podsiadło and I think you should listen to his other songs because his very talented! We have a band in Poland which is a legend of Polish blues and rock called Dżem! ❤ but if you want to listen something more modern I can recommend young bands: LemON and The Dumplings.
Oh, I almost forgot,
I assure you that in our clubs on Saturdays we don't dance to the long&junior band 😂

You are right, polish people are slavs, and we are proud of it.
That's why we have nice modern folk music like "TULIA - Nieznajomy (Dawid Podsiadło folk cover)" or even some rock/folk music like "Żywiołak - Psychoteka".
From other genre I can recomend trip hop/jazz band Micromusic (song "Bezwładnie" feat. Skubas).
Oh, and pop is more like "Brodka - Dancing Shoes KAMP! REMIX". The one you got is called disco polo

You pronounced the indie guys name which is Dawid correctly on the second try. “W” in polish is pronounced as “V” in English, we have a whole separate letter for the English “W” sound it’s “Ł,ł” it’s rights after L in the alphabet. Also pronouncing his name Dawid you should put the emphasis on the “a” not the ”i” and then you can say it perfectly 😊👍

Try Lady Pank, Kombi, Czerwone Gitary, Elektryczne gitary, Czeslaw Niemen and many other old Polish bands and singers. The second song? It was disco polo and it’s the worst music in our country. A group I loved when I heard them first some 10-15 years ago was Kapela Ze Wsi Warszawa (Warsaw Village Band). I don't follow them up close, being from Belgium, but I was mesmerised by their music, based on Polish folk music, but with a strong urban vibe. Especially their songs Zurawie, The Owl and In The Forest haven taken me in for life. They have since been influenced by many other genres, even reggae!
