  • We all know this platform with the 1.8T or the 2.0T has a smoking problem because of the oil burning. I tried to use Liqui Moly to see if it will help in any way! The results is amazing!
    Tools and Products I used:
    Motor Oil Saver
    Stop Smoking
    5W-40 Full Synthetic oil

    I had the same symptoms on my 2006 high mileage BMW 316i. I went through a litre of oil every 800km… I changed the valve stem seals, and the car no longer consumes oil or spits out oil/water through the exhaust. Changing the stem seals is a pain though, but worth it and after a while you’ll forget the hardship and the pain of doing the job😂

      Ohhhh thanks for the heads up! I will go do some reaserch on the symptoms of bad valve stem seals! Lets hope it is that 🙌🤣

      @@megalodononwheels Yeah! I tried the rubber rejuvenating stuff, but on old cars the rubber is far too gone... If it's the piston rings there's not much you can do, besides a full engine rebuild. Changing the valve stem seals is dirt cheap, but is very labour intensive! I did the job for about 150 USD (a cheap timing tool from the Far East included). But you should check if Audis have valve stem seal or piston ring problems. On the Bimmers it's usually the valve stem seals, not sure about the Audis.

      Audi it is usually the piston rings sadly 💔 and every second A4 B8 had a motor rebuild

    my car is 2012 Audi Q5 2.0t, I have changed to warmer spark plug from Denso IK22 to IK20, it seems more efficient in daily driving! (I found the factory OEM spark plug setting is too cold..

      Hmmmm this is new. How would you say the colder spark plugs was not sufficient?

    Can you please send m the code for the dipstick please?

      @megalodononwheels  Před 4 měsíci +1

      I bought it maybe 3 years ago 😭
      I wished I still had it. Even my friends locally asked me and I couldn't help.
      Maybe I must look on the Dipstick, hopefully it Might have it but I doubt 🙆‍♂️

    Do any of these help with rejuvenation of the Gasket too?

    • @megalodononwheels
      @megalodononwheels  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Unfortunately not :( there should be a specific one for that but I think its maybe just better to change the gasket? It might cause some slug

      No. In my case I developed oil leak after this garbage.

    Do you have to do every oil change? Or if it fixed first time then your good?

    • @megalodononwheels
      @megalodononwheels  Před měsícem

      I would say look at the results after an oil change. If it smokes then add the additives. If it doesn't smoke then your good till maybe the next oil change 🙌👌

    how much kilometers since video, is there still low/no oil consumption

    • @megalodononwheels
      @megalodononwheels  Před 7 měsíci +2

      It has been over 2 months, probably approaching 3 months...
      I am still super happy, the oil consumption is very low. Yes it still uses oil but a fraction of what it did... Maybe 10% of what it used to consume.
      I am not sure how much km I have done but I usually do a 1000km a month at most, so say about 2500 to 3000 since I did it...

      @antonkankare Před 4 měsíci +1

      And what was your oil consumption about before the treatment, did the flush affect it at all or only this? I have about 1l/1000km and very little smoke

    • @megalodononwheels
      @megalodononwheels  Před 4 měsíci

      I removed my Catalytic converter so I do experience a small smell under Wide open Throttle (WOT) but for day to day driving, havent seen or smelled smoke again. Really rock solid and I can not Imagine changing my oil on my A4 again without adding the Liqui Molly Products.

    You had too much oil in your car. That is going by your Turbo. That is why it's blowing out you're going to need to replace the turbo

    • @megalodononwheels
      @megalodononwheels  Před měsícem

      Unfortunately that is not the case 💔
      The turbo has been reconned not long ago and I have all the tests that has been performed on it to show it passed.
      These cars are known for this problem
