I can go a couple of steps further than that & say that when he was in his prime, he wasn’t just a grand master of his sport.... He WAS the sport 🇧🇷🏎🇧🇷 ✊️😔
The best driver that there ever was. So sad when he died. I was watching the race live on TV with my father. There was a helicopter filming him being attended to by the medics. You could see Aryton laying there with his helmet still on. There was a pool of blood next to his head. I turned to my father and said I think he's dead. I couldn't quite believe it. Such a sad moment I'll never forget.
Watched it happen exactly as you said...After he hit the wall at The Tamburello, there was a head on shot of him swarming around in the cockpit. Initially, I thought he was trying to get out of the car, it turns out he was probably staring to suffocate from the trauma of the collision...
@@BobbyGeneric145 Man...do some study...there were a lot a blood. they did a "traqueostomy" (can't say that medical term in english, even in portuguese I can't say it i think lol) on him...he also lost a lot of blood from his head due the colision...his body didn't have marks, but his head did.
Senna was the king of the rain. And when it started raining during the race, we were full of joy cause we knew he would certainly win.I still cry everytime I see something about Senna. It has been almost 27 years he passed away. For his fans, it is still like having lost someone from the close family today.
As a Brazilian, I can tell you it was and still is the feeling shared by many of Brazilians. We used to say that Senna was family because all the family would wake up, get out of the bed and fix the breakfast and rush to the TV room to watch him race. When he died, it hit us all hard... It seemed a dear loved relative had died... In a way, that's exactly what happened. I have cried while watching this video... And will do so for the rest of my life.
Senna, is the doc on Netflix. He was an amazing driver to watch. He would take your breath away and make you question physics. No idea how he was able to do what he did as a racecar driver.

Thank you for the video. Senna is one of the best I've ever seen. I was a huge fan getting up at 7 on Sunday mornings to watch him on Speed channel. You asked a question; they do stop a practice or qualifying for a crash. Something else in the video, they talk about how much faster as his teammate, what's remarkable about that is the cars are supposed to be virtually identical. The time comparison between teammates is usually tenths or even hundredths of a second. In 1988 he out qualified his teammate the great Alain Prost by 1.4 seconds. Incredible!
I watched the race where he crashed live on tv, it was so devastating. I was just a teenager and Senna was my boyfriend’s ultimate hero. We watched Formula 1 all the time. We both were in tears. On another note you should check out the movie Ford Vs. Ferrari. My teenage son is now a major car fan and watching that together was wonderful. 💙
Thank you doing this reaction video! I remember watching Formula One and Indy Car when I was a young kid in the 1980s rooting for drivers such as Ayrton Senna and Rick Mears. F1 and Indy Car are the reasons I not only fell in love with NASCAR and Moto GP but motorsports in general. It's unfortunate that I never got to meet Ayrton Senna and watch him race in person. I was living in Riverton,Wyoming in 1994 and I was 13 years old when I found out on the World News that Ayrton Senna had died after a very hard crash in the San Marino Grand Prix. He was 34 years old.

Thanks Jamel. Please definitely check more bout Senna. He was a great Human Being> Rest assure that from now on you're gonna get a lot of fans in Brazil!!!!!
Been karting a few times. Exhausting business. And then you realize you're driving for like 15-20m. An F1 race is around 90 minutes. And you're going around corners much slower than an F1 car, experiencing much less lateral Gs. And you don't have to concentrate anywhere near as hard as an F1 driver. There's a very good reason why F1 drivers need to be very fit.
One exercise to give someone a _fraction_ of an understanding - take a 5kg dumbbell weight in one hand. Throw it up to just in front of your face, and catch it in the other hand. Then the same back to the first hand. Repeat half a dozen times or so, pause for 5 or 10 seconds, and then resume. Do that, without stopping, for an hour and a half. That's the strength and stamina Formula 1 drivers need to turn the steering wheel against the G-forces through corners. And that's not taking into account the forces when accelerating, the muscles required to push the brakes, the effects the lateral movements have on the rest of the body... they really are like fighter pilots on wheels.
Ayrton started the driver fitness movement because he was exhausted after finishing sixth in the 1984 South African Grand Prix. Please correct me if I'm wrong on this.💕

The Senna documentary is well worth a watch! He was brutal in his style and took no prisoners but undeniably one of if not the GOAT. Yeah he did die during a race, was a weird situation as the crash should not of killed him but a piece of bodywork hit him in the head. Had no other injuries caused by the crash 😳
There is a video of him (his view) driving a lap in Monaco in his frentic Honda powered race car....it's an older tv video, but oh man, so intense. He was hard to beat and if it rained....forget it, he was The Man.
I was too young when senna died so I never got to watch him race. But as a big fan of modern F1, I get so sad when I think about him. Ayrton Senna was such an inspiration to so many people. He was a god among men in Brazil, and admired all over the world.

Yeah he did die during a race, was a weird situation as the crash should not of killed him but a piece of bodywork hit him in the head. Had no other injuries caused by the crash 😳
THANKS JAMEL! Senna is "Simply The Best"! Def check out the Doc "Senna" you'll love it!
There is a video of him (his view) driving a lap in Monaco in his frentic Honda powered race car....it's an older tv video, but oh man, so intense. He was hard to beat and if it rained....forget it, he was The Man.
when he passed away, my school at that day had us out of the class to say a prayer and then played his theme song
YES! THANK YOU! I've been waiting for someone to do a reaction to anything about Senna. Most i can find are only in portuguese. Please do more!
I really enjoyed watching someone discover the magic of Senna. Jamal, the documentary, Senna, will blow your mind.
I was too young when senna died so I never got to watch him race. But as a big fan of modern F1, I get so sad when I think about him. Ayrton Senna was such an inspiration to so many people. He was a god among men in Brazil, and admired all over the world.
Obrigado fico feliz. Em nome povo brasileiro você. Lembrado nosso tricampeão mundial Ayrton Senna. Parabéns
Aryton Senna de Silva was my favorite racer in F1 He was and still is the best. We lost him , but he still lives inside us.
J, I've been subscribed since the very beginning. Everyone who goes to any of your channels is immediately touched. I cannot believe how far you've come how successful, but you deserve it my man. I probably got two or three hundred subscriptions, and your channels by far are my favorite. I haven't commented to you in a long time so I just wanted to say this. So so proud of you my man. Thanks for the entertainment the love and smiles and of course the music
Wow incredible 👏
My goodness bro!!! This is my favorite F1 driver and general race car driver of all time!! Watch the documentary Senna and you will be amazed at what a beast this dude was!!!
When a man gets behind the wheel and can intuitively light the track on fire,………..the world HAS TO take notice.
@Jamel_AKA_Jamal - Thanks for the video about our brazilian hero, Senna! Even it´s hard to watch anything about him and do not cry...
I have been to at least 4 Formula 1 races in Austin TX. They are amazing to watch in person.
He was the king of Monaco (very difficul circuit, a street circuit) and the king of thecrain. When he was racing under rain in Monaco, it was just magical!
He was really yo7ng when he passed, he was only 34 😔
The Best driver of the history....
Senna was The Rain Master. A great racer.
Saw Senna race in Montreal in 1989, a very wet race that he didn't win. But it was a privilege to see him race. RIP to the master. The movie documentary is amazing and will leave you speechless.
