When I retired I did what I had dreamed of doing.. sailing into New York on a liner. The Mary was a week of my life I'll never forget. To be treated like you're important, to eat like a king, to mix with such a social stew of people, to swim in a pool in a force 10, to learn to paint, play bridge, dance.... I could go on. Outstanding. I've been on cruise ships as well. They're OK.
+QE2 She is the only ocean liner running today. Qm2 is the greatest ship in service! Her features being taken from QE2 of course makes her even better. The bow. The funnel, squashed though it may be. The mast. The black on the bridge though is spectacular in my mind. She has Queen Mary's whistle too. Pretty sure she is the loudest cruise vessel as well, especially when all four are going.
Indeed. And yeah you should look up TS Queen Mary. She is a nice steamer and I can't wait to see her back up here in Glasgow. Would be great if she returned on the day one of the Queens visits Greenock this year.
+Adrian Larkins HaHa! That was a new nickname for those "Cruise barges". There should be a competition to find the best nickname for them. "Floating condo blocks", "oversize floating boxes", "apartment buildings with propellers" are some of the names i found in comments on CZcams.
+michael z The QE2 was a proper liner but she has gone. The QM2 is the nearest to an ocean going liner these days but even she has a slight apartment block look about her. The others, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth are floating apartment blocks.
Have booked the QM2 for 2019 when my husband and I will cross and then go into Normandy for the D-Day anniversary. We have absolutely zero interest in cruising of any type and jumping from port to port. I am personally looking forward to this bucket list adventure where we can enjoy quiet and peace as we cross with no rock climbing walls and bathing suits dripping all over the hallways. Snobbish? Well, it is a 'veddy British ship'!
Oasis of the seas is currently being upgraded, you probably don't know how the decks are actually loaded out But, oasis is a cruise and QM2 is an ocean liner
The Oasis is a magnificent ship in terms of scale and amenities, and seems on her way to a long and profitable career, but the Mary is something special. She has a certain charm, character, and elegance that most modern cruise ships simply can't match.
The Queen Mary is an ocean liner, the gold standard of luxury ships, made to accommodate its passengers and give them a comfortable experience. The Oasis of the Seas is a cruise ship, meant for entertainment, with thousands of places where you and the family can have as much fun as you want, like you would in a beach or hotel. Both ships are great in their own aspects. This comparison simply shows what they are good at.

I am debating sailing to Europe next time, but I cannot say anything about the QM2 appeals. QM2 is too big, menus suck and it is English. We sailed the Dutch ships such as Nieuw Amsterdam, Ryndam, Maasdam, Rotterdam with fantiastic food and crews.

oasis of the seas is a cruise ship the qm2 is an ocean liner theres a huge difference love to see the oasis of the seas go from southhampton to newyork in the winter month s not a chance
One must remember that these two ships were designed for different purposes. Oasis is primarily a cruise ship, and stays in calmer waters. QM2 was designed as a true ocean liner for the North Atlantic crossing in bad weather and rough seas. The difference in purpose dictates a different hull design, and hence a different layout and atmosphere. If I just want to kill time Oasis is great. If I want to go to or from Europe in style, the QM2 can't be beat.
I've been on both and there's no competition. The QM2 is a luxurious, spacious and beautiful ship that can sail anywhere anytime. She has no pretension. The OofS is a large, ugly, overcrowded, lumbering shoebox with a one-minute wow-factor that's gotten old the next and can only sail from Las Boros to Las Snoozos.
I describe the Oasis as a hotel with a rudder. She's crudely designed to maximize the number of passengers and profit. The QM2 has about the same footprint and carries only a fraction of the passengers, meaning the QM2 guests aren't packed in like sardines in a floating tin can at sea.
The RMS Queen Mary 2 is an ocean linear that was designed to transport passengers across the rough North Atlantic. Plenty of folks who don't care for flying for various reasons and its nice to still have that option of traveling. She's the last ocean linear in the world (although the QE2 is still kept in seaworthy condition, but its highly unlikely she will ever do what she was designed to do again and die a slow death much like the RMS QM1). A cruse ship has no appeal for me, so my vote goes to QM2.
Reasons why the QM2 is better. I went on it when I was 11 and it is great The QM2 is a Ocean liner not a cruise ship It can go 30 knots It can go through a storm without running back to port It looks like a vessel not a box You get treated really well When I went on it was my Dads birthday and he got a card from the commador
Hamza Tariq I don't know why you guys are sighting bad weather as a drawback for oasis, she is a Caribbean cruise liner, not a transatlantic passenger liner. I have been onboard oasis and I had a wonderful time, very comfortable and very well treated by royal Caribbean. Hardly the floating refrigerator you're describing. And she can go through bad weather just fine. If not better than the QM2 due to her greater width, which would cover her greater stability in the water. You all seem to be forgetting that oasis was built and Hamburg and operates out of Florida. So it had to make a transatlantic crossing, which it handled very well.
Queen Mary wins hands down. She can steam full ahead on the Atlantic in swells that would have the Oasis confined to harbour. Queen Mary 2 is also far more elegant, and is more like a thoroughbred ocean going vessel. No contest!
The Anthem got caught in 75knt winds, which they claim were 150, and ran home in sheer panic. Qm2 went through hurricane sandy and just rocked about a bit with maybe one or two broken things. Pretty sure hurricane sandy was 75kts as well.
Shanil Panchal First person I've ever heard say that!!!! WOW!!! If you want modern interior for families and what not, go with Oasis or her bigger sisters. If you want a historic type, super fast, sturdy, last ocean liner in the world, best sounding horns in the world, wont go running home in a slight breeze vessel, go with QM2. Oasis is more modern yes. Oasis is more elegant, that is very questionable and I would say a large majority of people would say QM2 is vastly more "elegant" than any cruise ship in existence. I'm not including Queen Mary and QE2 as they are liners. QM2 for greatest ship in service worldwide!!!!!
Oasis of the Seas is almost as elegant as the Emma Maersk - fully loaded. Paint the ship and the containers white and put windows on the containers. Not so big difference.
Cunard is quality and class, QM2 is unique and designed to survive the oceans of the world. The smaller Cunard ships are not technically ocean liners but can hold their own with style and cruise the world over.
Went on QM2 September 2012 and will never forget the great time we had on there. Wouldn't set foot on the Oasis of the Seas, but whatever floats your boat. Trying the Queen Victoria this April but will sail QM2 again next year.
I prefer the ocean liner QM2 over the RCCL's floating money basket. The QM2 is the better built ship and can handle the Atlantic high seas.. Or any seas for that matter. I've had the opportunity of sailing on both. QM2 wins, hands down.
@@chickenbokernot2598 Wrong. Queen Mary 2 is 345 METERS Oasis of The Seas is 361.2 METERS Clearly an 11 meter difference. And if we compare by GRT: Queen Mary 2: 145,000 GRT Oasis of the seas: 226,000 GRT Nevertheless Queen Mary 2 is more beautiful than that Oasis block
I don't really understand the conflict between the OATS and the Queen Mary II. The Oasis of the Seas is larger, giving it more accommodation than the regular ocean liner. It's a cruise ship, a floating family destination. The QM2 is a ocean liner, so it's, of course, luxurious. It's meant for the rich.
If I were to take another voyage across the Atlantic I would choose Cunard, simply for the elegance that is what the ship has. First Class would be the way to go of course, as I did in 1963 and 1967 with my Parents on QE1 , I truly miss the Queen Elizabeth as it was destroyed in Hong Kong Harbor in 1971. What a tragic fate. The beauty of Cunard ship’s is the way they’re treated , not like a floating barge with water slides and rock climbing walls. Just pure Elegance! Interesting though….as I sit in a semi truck in Minneapolis Minnesota waiting for the next load, I look back with fond memories of what once was.
EXPLANATION: An ocean liner is made for transoceanic crossings on a shedule regardless of the weather to transport people to their destination. A cruise ship is made for calmer waters and it is usually the destination. Therefore an ocean liner has a stronger and higher hull. It also has a deeper draught and a sharper bow to go through the waves to make the journey smoother and safer. To overstate a little, a cruise ship will more bump around on big waves. An ocean liner like QM2 can operate as a cruise ship but a cruise ship can't successfully operate as an ocean liner.
sealover That's right. A cruise the size and lack of strong materials makes here the next transatlantic lunatic. For the record, the strength of Queen Mary 2 could make on of her sisters a better cross route for the middle Americas. Maybe 5-10 years, the Queen Mary 2 will be instead crossing a route of Jamaica to somewhere else. And besides, the Oasis will be the next Titanic.
+Erik Young Titanic didn't capsize. If Oasis begins to take in water it will most likely capsize, just like the Costa Concordia. Actually the centre of gravity is higher up by purpose on these cruise ships. It will make the rollings smoother and slower. This was in a documentary video. And look how low the lifeboats are located. Big waves would cause damages to them or rip them off. Cruise ships just aren't very seaworthy
Apparently the lifeboats on Oasis were indeed ripped off during her first repositioning cruise which required the addition of 2 little wings to deflect the waves on later voyages.
Good video, but I can't decide which is the greatest. Both are magnificent but they are built for different purposes. The Oasis of the Seas is a cruise ship build completely for entertainment and cruising around the Caribbean. She is basically a huge floating vacation resort. The QM2 is a Transatlantic Liner built for luxury and attracts a much different crowd. I guess it depends on taste. In that case I think I would prefer the QM2.
For me...the Oasis is a floating luxury town.....a cruise liner. How ever big it is, its still a cruise liner. Can't really compare it with the QM2 which is an ocean liner.
By looks, Queen Mary 2. By vacation standards Oasis of The Seas. But I like old ocean liners. Those old ladies will always be beautiful! So Queen Mary 2 for me.
Having sailed on both, I found the general dining room experience on both to be quite comparable - with dining service much more animated on Oasis. I enjoyed Oasis but there is nothing like plying through the Atlantic in a storm on the Mary. QM2 satisfies fine tastes and desires for elegant experiences! My vote is for Queen Mary 2 - taking my 11th voyage on her in three weeks - after her major refit!
Imagine if the Carnival Pinnacle project wasn't cancelled, since the pinnacle would've been larger than the oasis class and the first to have the split decks, this video likely would be on the Pinnacle and the QM2
Balconies facing each other across a canyon so deep the sun probably never touches the bottom? I'd rather put a gun to my head rather than sail the Oasis, while the QM2 seems like heaven. Whoever posted the Harrods vs Walmart comment is spot on.
What most people don't understand is that they are completely different types of ships. The QM2 is an Ocean Liner, while the Oasis is a Cruise ship. Very different jobs for very different purposes. The likeness of you getting on board either of these is quite slim (they are expensive if you didn't know), especially for the QM2. The QM2 is a very formal ship, something a lot of you people will not find very fun, you can't just run around the ship screaming the whole time. Cunard ships generally aren't for the young people. The Oasis Class, still a very beautiful ship and ship class, is More for you kids. More kid like things to do a board, such as the Wave rider and on Royal Caribbeans recent ship, the Harmony of the Seas, slides even. However you still have to attend formal dinners. Now because I have been on both of these ships I can say that I prefer the Oasis. The Atlantic Ocean isn't really that fun, especially when it's stormy. Meanwhile the Caribbean is a very nice and relaxing place to be! Plus the Oasis has a load more to do onboard! Trust me, you'll have way more fun on the Oasis.
QM2 hands down been on her twice beautiful looking ship and a true Ocean liner as for Oasis a floating block of flats with a shopping mall and theme park yuk no contest
The diff between a class experience and a carnival ride. No comparison. No matter what the size. It’s like what the guy in the motor boat asked the guy in the sailboat. Where ru going? So the guy in the sailboat said “I’m already there.”
zippy why all of you are abusing the oasis of the seas they are still the same they are still ships dont abuse some ships bro just in my opinion no hurt feeling
What kind of a question is that ...? One is an overcrowded, loud, futuristic looking nightmare, the other is the embodiment of style, grandure and ocean travel. Nothing surpasses QM2 ... she's like the "Waldorf Astoria" sailing down 5th Avenue.
Hmmmmm, a cruise ship or the only ocean liner? A block of floating flats or a 10 star luxury floating hotel that can take you across to the other side of the world? Edit as i forgot to mention: a ocean liner that can turn on the spot without any help and has a stabaliser that help balance the ship during very rough seas or just a big cruise ship that will move alot during a storm
Rivals...the QM2 doesn' t have any, she is a bread of her own ! My favorite among the liners is RMS Queen Elizabeth a much more modern an stylish vessel than the QM... :D
Do they only build these huge cruise ships today? Most of the small to middle-size cruise ships seem to be old or converted from old passenger ferries. Of course there are a lot of old ferries and they are suitable for it.
QM2 is the worlds best looking ocean liner and I would love to sail on her one day. That said, I have just booked a Caribbean cruise on the Oasis of the Seas next Easter......Haven't told the wife yet but I'm sure she'll find my Amex statement soon enough.
QM2 is an oceanliner. It can sail in any conditions, and worldwide. Oasis of the Seas, while slightly bigger, is a fair weathered cruiseliner by comparison. I'm more impressed by QM2, but i'd have more fun on Oasis.
Apple and oranges. One is a Cruise Ship, the other is an Ocean Liner. I don't have the patience to write about the differences but my vote goes to the Queen Mary 2,..as she is one of a kind today: She is beautiful, stately, elegant and possesses ocean going capabilities that a Cruise Ship can not touch. The latest Cruise Ships are pretty amazing technological achievements and great for mass consumption but they are no QM2.
And I have to add the oasis has been so successful along with her sister the allure there is an even larger version being built in Germany that will set sail in 2015, truly amazing.
WRONG! WRONG!! WRONNNNGGG! they Oasis and the Allure will still be the biggest ships in the world... The Quantum of the Seas and Anthem of the Seas will both share the 3rd biggest ship spot, but both Quantum and Anthem will share the most technologically advanced ship spot.
Shows how much you know doesn't it. Look up the oasis 3 and 4, you will see they are enlarged versions of the oasis and allure of the seas with a higher gross tonnage and a wider beam which means they will take the title as the largest cruise ships in the world.
Technically they are not rivals. Both ships were designed for different types of people and different types of cruising. One is a family friendly mass market resort style ship for everyone and the other pays homage to ocean liners of the past and tries to recreate the bygone days of the ocean liner with style and sophistication in the modern day.
+Dante Lopez The Oasis' propulsion power is 60 MW and the QM2's is 86 MW and QM2 is smaller and weighs less than Oasis. The QM2's top speed is 30+ knots and she can cross the Atlantic with an average speed of 29 knots. Normally they CRUISE at the same speed. You have got the wrong information.
As i been on both i can give you an unbiased look on both the different types of ship: What sails better on the sea? Oasis wins this with its much more advanced technology due to it being much newer ship wins this by far. But equally designed for different ports requiring a lot more sensitivity What's more luxury? Qm2 wins by far oasis reminds me of a better Butlins with no luxury at all. Entertainment? Oasis beats by millions times dont need to say much more.. Conclussion. Royal carribean for families WITH children. Best holiday children can go on. Cunard for Adults with a bit more taste :)
@@susukumutajapan7194 well i have been with other royal carribean ships.. those modern stabilisers make a fucking hudge difference. Will never go with cunard again lmao. Tried many times always disappointed
I like both ship, one because the huge size and the other because the elegance, now I don´t know why people diss oasis and say that queen mary has pedigree, I wonder if it's 'coze oasis is a type of cruise that is more accessible for poor people
+Graziela Almeida While I understand why one could think that this could become a discussion about "class", it isn't. This video attempts to compare two different ships that were built for completely different purposes. The QM2 was designed from day-one to be an "ocean liner" capable of weathering heavy seas, and sailing at relatively high speed, safely. Oasis, on the other hand, Is built for pleasure cruising. Her top speed is slower, her draft is shallower, and by comparison would have to seek safe harbor in much less extreme sea conditions. Having said all that, I'm not saying that the QM2 is superior, only that these two ships were built for different purposes. The only way to determine which is better is to ask ones self what they need today. If you need to go on a caribbean vacation and have fun in the sun, and lots of umbrella drinks, and go rock wall climbing, Oasis is for you. If you need to cross the Atlantic in the winter, and in style, QM2 is for you.
So that's why the the QM2's bridge windows looked the way they do now compared to when she had her sea trials. Still, I like her sea trial look better. Compared to the Oasis? Hmm, well, I still want to go on a Cunard cruise because of the line's history, but the Oasis' settings and interiors look rather tempting to me.
Both great ships, the Oasis is a very wide ship, they both are. So I would think it is just as safe as QM2, even in rough seas. They are made for the environment they are to sail in. I would love to said on both!
The Queen Mary 2 is a real ship.
Oasis of the Seas is a touristic village on the sea, a block of flats
Well said, it literally a sailing city
Oh well to me being a ship history fan for 3 years i would say both of them are good will you rather build many funnels at your ship that do not even work like titanic 2 i rather not steamers and both modern liners are good to me funnels before works due to the steam from the boilers funnels purpose is to put the steam and both stoot out of the ship so will you rather build a ship that has funnels but no boilers just modern engine’s what do you think reply to me i think funnels is what you want on modern liners i guess steamers and modern liner are same but with added some structures to the stern and bigger uper deck’s with no funnels [my answer is : both]

+bmused55 The QM2 looks no where near as modern and as elegant compared to the Oasis of the seas.
+Shanil Panchal Calling the Oasis of the Seas elegant instantly disqualifies you! :P
Oasis of the Seas is almost as elegant as the Emma Maersk - fully loaded. Paint the ship and the containers white and put windows on the containers. Not so big difference.
Hands down Queen Mary 2 but you have to think of the 20+ designers of the Oasis and how hard they worked to make the box float
I'd much rather go on Oasis of the Seas but, yeah
I prefer the ocean liner QM2 over the RCCL's floating money basket. The QM2 is the better built ship and can handle the Atlantic high seas.. Or any seas for that matter. I've had the opportunity of sailing on both. QM2 wins, hands down.
Ugh like comparing a Rolls Royce with a stretched Limozine. One is an icon of style and beauty the other is just too long.
old comment but the oasis of the seas is only 0.5 metres longer
@@chickenbokernot2598
Wrong. Queen Mary 2 is 345 METERS
Oasis of The Seas is 361.2 METERS
Clearly an 11 meter difference. And if we compare by GRT:
Queen Mary 2: 145,000 GRT
Oasis of the seas: 226,000 GRT
Nevertheless Queen Mary 2 is more beautiful than that Oasis block
@@Chrono_topher yeah sure
@@Chrono_topher that ugly black ship is soooooo much better than the giant majestic white ship, which is also one of the biggest ships in the world
@@chickenbokernot2598
I actually like Queen Mary 2 better than that retarded floating roller coaster
In my opinion, QM2 wins by a long shot for numerous reasons, owned by Cunard, classic liverys, great modern design with a classic appearance.
Did i also say it looks more graceful.
Yeah that right
I'd never let Cunard down ;)
me to i like cunard
:)
Cunard Sucks!!!
Yash Gilatar lol
Well said!
All we need are Lusitania and Mauretania 2's and we'll be good!
The music you used in this video fits perfectly with the scenes of the ships
man this was one of the first vids i watched when i started getting into cruising cant believe its been so long
the qm2 was an inspration to the poseidon moive in 2006. : ]
Queen Mary 2 is elegant.
The Oasis is like a Walmart / Target.
No contest... The Oasis is an oversized barge, while Queen Mary 2 is a ship with pedigree
Queen Mary 2 hands down, elegance over show
EXPLANATION: An ocean liner is made for transoceanic crossings on a shedule regardless of the weather to transport people to their destination.
Apparently the lifeboats on Oasis were indeed ripped off during her first repositioning cruise which required the addition of 2 little wings to deflect the waves on later voyages.
sealover I didn't say titanic capsized. I said the Oasis and titanic were and are going to be the next shames of the seas.
this song is like doctor who and some other song
Ocean Liner (QM2) > Cruise Ship (OofS)
+TheDarkFalcon Exactly! Nothing to compare.
I mean the ship is called 'Oofs' for crying out loud, it sounds like someone has been punched in the gut.
Nothing beats d ocean liner. they were the greyhound of d seas.
I hope Cunard name their new ship Mauretania
Oasis may look like an apartment block but damn that is one nice looking apartment block.
QM2 if I want a quiet and luxurious holiday, Oasis if I want to party all night long.
The Oasis of the Seas is really creepy. I hate it. QM@2 on the other hand is a lovely elegant ocean liner.
How is the oasis of the seas creepy? To me Queen Mary 2 looks creepy compared to oasis of the seas
Oasis far better ship
One is elegance and class the other is fun and chaos..
For me...the Oasis is a floating luxury town.....a cruise liner. How ever big it is, its still a cruise liner. Can't really compare it with the QM2 which is an ocean liner.
Exactly. Finally someone knew what I was thinking.
Queen Mary 2 is the safest and the most elegant ship in our days. An iconic ocean liner ! No comparison it' s the best !
Yep Yep so true
Queen mary 2 sin duda, es unico.
QM2 hands down been on her twice beautiful looking ship and a true Ocean liner
as for Oasis a floating block of flats with a shopping mall and theme park yuk no contest
When end of steam age ships became look like apartment building
The diff between a class experience and a carnival ride. No comparison. No matter what the size. It’s like what the guy in the motor boat asked the guy in the sailboat. Where ru going? So the guy in the sailboat said “I’m already there.”
Oasis is a big toy boat, the type that sink all the time. QM2 is a real Ship.
Guitar Dude agree with you...my vote goes to QM2
Ur right QM2 great ship
zippy why all of you are abusing the oasis of the seas they are still the same they are still ships dont abuse some ships bro just in my opinion no hurt feeling
zippy lol a dumb lego boat xD
@@deuz9849 well QM2 simply looks better from the outside. Oasis is too big, it's a floating shoe box.
Queen Mary 2
just traveling on Queen Mary 2 much nicer wave pool Queen Mary 2
love the music.
where is the music from?
two steps from hell
That classic Red - Black - White paint only makes a ship a ship
There's two ways to this, if you're going by looks and speed then QM2. But, if you're going by stuff to do then is the Oasis for sure.
I like that intro xD
Stig Lilleaas stylish, lol , more like a shoe box
S
@@haechiwr oh dear...I ment the first RMS Queen Elizabeth :) compared to the first QM..... There's no 2 in my favorite :)
QM2 150,000 tonnes (appx) and 2620 passengers. Oasis 225,000 tonnes and 6296 passengers (appx). Depends on how much space you want.
Oasis build in Finland
Do they only build these huge cruise ships today? Most of the small to middle-size cruise ships seem to be old or converted from old passenger ferries. Of course there are a lot of old ferries and they are suitable for it.
I went on the QM2 and i do the transatlantic crossing but I'd never felt the wave oh my god its so cool
Cunard line got a huge loss when RMS Lusitania sunk. That brought the Cunard line down. But today QM2 is keeping the Cunard alive.
love this music
QM2 is the worlds best looking ocean liner and I would love to sail on her one day. That said, I have just booked a Caribbean cruise on the Oasis of the Seas next Easter......Haven't told the wife yet but I'm sure she'll find my Amex statement soon enough.
its like comparing a sandwich to a bucket of water
LOL
Sure, sure. I'd like to see how enjoyable of an experience Oasis of the Seas provides when shes CROSSING THE ATLANTIC.
Long live the Queen!
Can u do Ss Norway vs Ss France i would vote for both
And I have to add the oasis has been so successful along with her sister the allure there is an even larger version being built in Germany that will set sail in 2015, truly amazing.
WRONG! WRONG!! WRONNNNGGG! they Oasis and the Allure will still be the biggest ships in the world...
@@e.s.4017 I am from the future. The Symphony of the Seas and Wonder of the Seas exist.
My family was on the first voyage of Oasis of the seas
Best ruval cunard and white star line
Technically they are not rivals. Both ships were designed for different types of people and different types of cruising. One is a family friendly mass market resort style ship for everyone and the other pays homage to ocean liners of the past and tries to recreate the bygone days of the ocean liner with style and sophistication in the modern day.
Very very well said!
the QM2 slicker design is a lot faster and it's engines are better for its size
Accutually they have the same speed witch is 22 knots each.
That is incorrect, Dante. Queen Mary 2 can easily ply the waves at 32 knots if needs be. She was built as a true ocean-traversing liner.
+agroppe nope that's incorrect because the designers specifically said she was only built to be able to go 22 knots.
You have got the wrong information.
the oasis of the seas goes 22 knots qm2 go 27 knots
As i been on both i can give you an unbiased look on both the different types of ship:
What sails better on the sea?
Oasis wins this with its much more advanced technology due to it being much newer ship wins this by far. But equally designed for different ports requiring a lot more sensitivity
What's more luxury?
Qm2 wins by far oasis reminds me of a better Butlins with no luxury at all.
Entertainment?
Oasis beats by millions times dont need to say much more..
Conclussion.
Royal carribean for families WITH children. Best holiday children can go on.
Cunard for Adults with a bit more taste :)
Are you sure that Oasis sails better that QM2? Have you seen the Oasis crossing the Atlantic with the toughest waves as QM2 did?
@@susukumutajapan7194 well i have been with other royal carribean ships.. those modern stabilisers make a fucking hudge difference. Will never go with cunard again lmao. Tried many times always disappointed
Oasis of the Seas is newer by TWO YEARS! What types of differences are there in tech anyway.
The Oasis is made for calmer waters.
Queen Mary 2 is a real vessel, the last of the ocean liners. Oasis OTS and the nowadays cruise ships are resorts put on a hull
queen Mary 2 because I heard she could survive a storm sooooo my vote goes to the qm2
You don't even see if oasis can. Wow.
@@handledav not at all. Cruise ships are not design for storms.
A while ago someone posted that the QM2 is Harrods while the Oasis is like Walmart. Too funny.
Im feeling nostalgic
What music is used in this video? Please let me know!
The QM2. When can i go!
What is the song of this video? pls send me link to my page
Both great ships, the Oasis is a very wide ship, they both are. So I would think it is just as safe as QM2, even in rough seas. They are made for the environment they are to sail in. I would love to said on both!
Oasis of the seas is nice, but the QM2 is a legend!
la elegancia y clase del queen
