- The engine is now ready to be dropped in. We managed to get the clutch kit & Gearbox fitted, the sump gasket replaced and a few engine bay components fitted in preparation for the transplant

Never used a sump gasket on a mk1. Gaskets cause oil leaks and i use i vintage tray in the sump(slash plate)
