  • This week we make the most of the weather by taking the paddle boards down to Stangate creek and go exploring in the raised marsh land that is all around this area.
We make these films just for fun, and we hope that you have enjoyed watching them however we have been asked on a couple of occasions now if we have a Patreon account. We don’t want to do that at this stage as we feel it would turn the channel into a business, and as we said at the beginning, this is all just for fun. However if you would like to support us and feel you could help contribute to the cost of making these films then you can do that via our PayPal account here. A big thank you to everyone that has already done this, its a great help.

I wasn't expecting to watch all of this one, I expected it to be dull. I watched to the end, you made it all rather interesting. The music, the cinematography, and of course Hannah's narration, made a rather nice video. Thanks.

Thankyou. We did wonder if we should release it but then our channel just shows you what we het up to on the water, and well this is one of those things.

Brilliant. I love the way the pleasure and joy you feel shines out of you all. My wife and I have also run aground late in the evening on a falling tide, trying to get out of Sharfleet. :-)

Thank you for another gorgeous video. Love the footage, especially the drone and, as usual, the lovely music. We’re in the Scillies at present. Just visited the spot on St Agnes where I beached my MacGregor 26 after an overnight single-handed dream-sail from Falmouth. Have been kayaking, lots of grounding, due to the springs low tides. Sand rather than mud though 😂. All the best with you boat change; exciting! ⛵️🍾❤️

I fancy you know how lucky you are with these waters so close to home.

We do. Its restrictive in many ways but as long as we tailor our sailing activities to the waters we have then we agree, its fantastic

You are becoming more daring with drone flying 😉. I hope the landing back onboard Daphi wasn't too stressful!

Thankyou for noticing. Yup it is the reason there were more drone shots in the film as we arnt normally so daring and thought we should share the footage when we take it :-)

With essentially no tides in my part of the world, your charts with all the green look really scary to me. My brain always interprets the green as solid land. Our charts have dark blue for 0-3 m, light blue for 3-6 m and white for everything deeper than 6 m.

it does require a different way of thinking and it still scares us as well. You know you should be alright but you can never be sure.
