Mogilny,Fedorov,Bure... timelessly terrifying
One of the greatest to wear the Sabres jersey and one of the greatest to play the game! Thank you for this video I was just a young kid so I didnt really know the full story but man I loved watcing him play!
Shame he's not in the hof, that dude was the most electric player in the league at the time. One of those guys that when your team was playing the Sabres, you were excited to have a chance to watch him play on TV.
I still remember when he first came to Vancouver. He was heads and shoulders above everyone else!
Him Fedorov and Bure were my 3 favs as a kid.

Great presentation. Thank you. I was fortunate to have seen Alex's 1st NHL goal in person. Un...and I mean UN-BELIVEABLE!!! Hall of Fame should really take a closer look at the "Russian Rocket".
It's not a shame he isn't in the Hall of Fame, it's downright disgusting.
DAMMN!!! Throwing shade at Joe toward the end. Love it!
Haha I actually like the guy, but com'on.
Not only should he be in the HOF, he should have been named one of the top 100 players of all time. I’m curious as to why is is constantly overlooked.
He's not a lock HOFer. HE's one of those standing at the window. If you look at the all-time point list, he has 1032 and thats where the HOF kind of stops, at 1100points. Some around him in scoring are in, but they had the hardware or were important to their teams. Mogilny was a hot shot, but burnt a lot of bridges with his teams in the 1990s. He was hot in a few season, but very sporadic in the rest due to injuries. I'm from Buffalo too.
Indeed a great job once again with this video!
Much appreciated.
Thanks Wario. Glad you enjoyed it!
A very courageous decision and an fantastic player. I love to saw him play for the team i hate...

One of my early favourite Canucks players, great video!
Same. I remember his hat trick when he first became a Canuck.
Great Video man
And new logo. Nice.
Knew you'd notice. You've been calling for a better intro since EP.1!
@@KetaProductions 🤣 you up'ed your game! Good job!
To me the hockey hall of fame is very biased to players that aren’t from Canada
That Old Boys' Club mentality absolutely puts foreigners at a disadvantage
@@KetaProductionsnowadays, it’s a woke joke in which they’ll select some female hockey players nobody has ever heard of, instead of these nhl legends.
I don’t know the best way to describe Mogilny on the ice. It’s like a ballet dancer, every movement is smooth and effortless. He almost moved like an Anime character where every action has a smooth curve to it. He handled the puck and skated like it was nothing. The most pure skilled player I’ve ever seen. Like Bure, he was ahead of his time and would have fit right in to the modern era. I can’t imagine why he has yet to get in the HoF. His defecting alone should put him in a special category.
I would absolutely watch an anime on Mogilny haha
Fun fact: the gold medals handed out in the USSR were actually chocolate 😂
Well , with the war in Ukraine , i don't think the Hall of Fame consider that possibility...but he deserve it for sure.
I dont understand the tied with Selanne.. I mean he had 7 less played games so mathematically he should have won Richard trophy alone IMO
Lemieux had more GPG at 60 games.
Considering with how the US and Russia are today, I wouldn't be shocked if players are gonna half to defect again like Pavel and Sergai did just to play in the NHL
ALMO > ELMO Sesame Street...Dont @ me
I dunno. If you're talking about their hair game, they're pretty equal in the early 90s
SAMMO (Hung) beats both of them.
