Good review. I have a 2022 X3 M40i and it’s such a fun vehicle to drive. My first BMW and I love it. I just returned from performance center in Spartanburg and after driving M cars, I’m now also wanting an M3. These vehicles are addictive!
They really are man the X3 m40i is probably my favorite suv for the money! I love the m3 too but I’d have a tough time deciding between the M3 And M550

Great review. Thanks for mentioning the smell of the Sensafin faux leather. I've not heard any other reviewer mention that and it does make a difference for some people. I noticed you pointed out the tach is only visible in Sport mode. I'd rather see the tach in Comfort mode as well. Is that a change for 2023? Seems like previous model year reviews I've seen always show the tach.
Thank you! Unfortunately comfort mode just gives you a power percentage indicator but if you go into the individual modes, you can set certain things into comfort while leaving the gauges in sport to keep the tach.
