Oh boy! Bringing back the 1 hour tours! You guys give the most value out of any dealer in America!
Thank you! They are long but we hope people find value.
So excited!! I can’t wait for the rest of the full tours so I can decide what’s best for me
Stay tuned. They will all be out soon.
Awesomeness!! 🎉🎉🎉
Come out and see us at ROA OFF-ROAD of South Carolina!
Love this floor plan!
Love it! Great tour and looks like an amazing camper !

Excited to see more of these floor plans that bunk model has a really nice floor plan
More to come!
Always love the content! And the campers keep getting better and better!

Such an amazing video. Well done ROA studios! Such a well thought out video.
Thank you very much!
Àwesome unit!!!!!
Current favorite floor plan!! We had such a good time in this RV!!
Thanks! 😊
They are fabulous trailers😊
Thanks!
Great tour!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love it. Hope we will buy one Spring 2025
Yesssss
It's so amazing to have a trailer with that quality that sleeps 6
Hot-dip galvanized steel also has stronger welds. The process helps to temperature set the welds to the structural steel (annealing).
I'm highly impressed with this rig.
The suspension and bottom protection is 😮🤯
I know Australia has actual regulations for trailers frames and brakes, unlike the US, so is the US version the same as their Aussie version?
Yes, they are the same. They are all coming out of the same manufacturing plant only one is mirrored for Australia and the other for the USA. There are some differences mostly appliances because some Australian appliances are not allowed in the USA. But the manufacturing and structural engineering is all the same. 😊
Great video!
Thanks!
That’s killer!
Good review Shane… I now wish I purchased a MDC, we did looked at the XL15E. But, will upgrade in a few years.
Your current unit is great 😊 Don’t regret buying it. As long as it gets you out camping.. 🙂
Taking our maiden voyage next week!
Look forward to a video!
I would love to see a triple bunk option for one of these campers. Please!
Dinette turns into a bed! So it has 4 beds!
Yeah. A 7 sleeper. We have 5 kids. Guess one could sleep on the floor in a sleeping bag
@ROAOffRoad tell Shane the US Owner Manual is now being proof read by the technical team. He can leave James alone lol
This was a great walkthrough.....Are you guys planning on doing one of these on the XT16HR ISLAND model? We are very interested in the comparison of that model to this one. Thanks.
We have the 16 east west tour coming soon! Island is on the list!
Thank you for another great vid!! Looks promising! Please, some questions: -What is the travel of the suspension? -What are the walls made from? -Also, is the side compartment in front that holds the jerry cans and which you used for chairs storage, large enough to hold and run a generator that would be adequate enough for off grid Florida summers?
Thanks, Every MDC can be a bit different on travel but you are around 4-5 inches. The outside walls are an aluminum composite and with a welded aluminum frame and insulation. The inside walls are fiberglass. The front compartment will not fit any generators. But the drive side is very large an will easily fit a bunch of different size Generators.
This is killer! But I need a micro version at maxed 3500gvrw and sleeps 4 please and thank you. (6th gen bronco)
Thanks! This might work for you. Hard to sleep 4 inside but the Annex. czcams.com/video/kKeWIKrwZlw/video.htmlsi=lrmWWvXPsl-sXC3g
I wonder if my 2020 ram rebel v8 can tow it
Don’t need a 6 person sleeper but like the features and workmanship. How goes the 16 any reviews?
16s will be coming out shortly! Stay tuned. 😉
I wonder how this unit compares with the pause 21.4?
@@TheTeaguecowley The first thing is that the 21.4 is $130-$140,000.
This unit is $79,000.
Not really the same price point. As far as quality. They are both amazing.
MDC is one of the best built trailers we have ever seen. The Pause has more features like auto level, electric jacks. More battery.
The MDC is more simple yet still has tons of features. It is without a doubt one of the best built products out there.
Is ROA going to carry the MDC XT17HRT NON Family unit?
Yes, We have them available. They are order only. They are not bring in stock unless someone orders them. We should have a tour coming out on a used one that is coming in for service.
Can I get this trailer with air compressor on board!
Yes. We can add an air compressor here at ROA
Seems like just another OBI/Conqueror and Black Series in the making. How do we know these rebranded Chinese trailers are any different than the crap that was pimped to the public by ROA in the past?
@@MrLocke-bk3om They are nothing like Black Series and OBI. To say MDC is a rebranded Chinese trailer is not fair. There are major differences between the brands.
First: MDC has been in business in Australia for almost 20 years and they are the leading off road trailer manufacturer in Australia. If you actually do research you will see they have one of the best reputation in Australia. They are the 3rd largest manufacture in Australia.
Second: They are not rebranded. They have an exclusive factory and no other units are built there. Most of the components are proprietary and designed by them and built in their factory.
Black Series: Is not even in business in Australia and went BK years ago. Also they had a horrible reputation in Australia. They also have a horrible reputation in the USA. Though they seemed very good when they first came to the USA they turned south shortly afterwards.
OBI: Is still good quality. Unfortunately they were a Covid company that only started 3 years ago. Over built production and couldn’t sell when things slowed down. They now can’t support the customers buying. They are also a knock off of the MDC and are built in a plant that many manufactures are using to build any brand.
MDC is one of the first manufacturers and most of the stuff you have seen like BS, OBI and others are copy-cats. The quality is much higher on MDC.
@@ROAOffRoad good information here, but Conqueror trailers and MDC have a lot more in common than you’re leading on. Conqueror has also been around for 30 years in Australia and is reputable over there for their quality and durability. They established operations in China to make trailers for export to other markets (like the United States). Perhaps there’s a difference in the way the final trailer is assembled or manufactured, I don’t know, but I think it’s fair to be skeptical since ROA has said all the same great things yours saying about MDC about Conqueror and other brands in the past that have since failed in their stateside operations of importing Chinese manufactured trailers
@@MrLocke-bk3om Yes, Conqueror has been around for a long time and seemed to have a good reputation in Africa and Australia. Unfortunately, Conqueror sold rights to a China manufacturer that also builds OBI. They said they would make the units identical to Africa but the America/China operators have not been good. OBI is okay quality but their support is terrible. MDC is being ran and operated by the founder in Australia and he is in charge of the USA. So it really is not the same. Owners are the same with MDC. Unfortunately Conq switched hands to China and are not what we hoped for.
@@MrLocke-bk3om We deal with the QC on every trailer that lands and generally during PDI we find a handful of things to fix. Sometimes dozens. This is the case with OBI/Conqueror. We are very open about this and that is why we recommend upgrades like shocks and other components because they fail. MDC is a totally different story. The QC is night and day and our PDIs find close to zero issues. The quality has been superb from the start.
Great video!
Thanks!
