How sweet was that? Bloom loves Reynolds , she always has. He was hung up on marrying a black woman, we can pretty much say goodbye to any relationship with Evie. She is all about her career, Reynolds mom said that she was not the marrying type. We will wait and see.

Best rewatch the past episodes he wasn’t the only one hung up on marrying a black woman so is his mother and most of the family as for bloom sorry these two are just not right together and before you race baiting snowflakes go off on me cause I said it he’s way to straight laced and from a proper family and she’s fun loving takes risks and is more independent then most so it would be a bad fit

I hope New Amsterdam returns soon. Lauren and Reynolds need to end up together, just like Max and Sharpe. Lauren knows Reynolds so well and he knows her. He's just so bent on fulfilling his plan for his dream job so doesn't see who is right for him. I'm hoping that he will forget this whole color thing and just give in to love.
I like to think of them as platonic soulmates 😌 they remind me a bit of how everyone thought Boyle and Rosa from brooklyn 99 would end up together but they dropped it and they ended up becoming really close friends in the later seasons. I think it would be refreshing to see the same thing for lauren and floyd rather than going for the 'obvious' starting ship. But maybe that's just me 👌

why do yall, the majority of the people in the comments, not value pure and simple friendships as much as you should. not every beautiful friendship has to turn into a relationship.
I will confess that I wanted them back together, mainly because the actors have such amazing chemistry. That said: I very much love that they’re best friends. Their relationship transcends a romantic one and is beautiful as is.

Was so weird when she said they are best friends I get she was on drugs but they never spend time together on the show!!
because the writers don't show it..but from their conversations when the show started they always use to hang out then became friends with benefits, she caught feelings, he caught feelings but wanted a black woman then she set him up with Evie. From this scene you see how she said "you remembered" about the restaurant her dad always used to take her to showing this is a conversation they had in the past. but we haven't seen any backstory of their relationship prior to when Max took over the hospital.

Don't want them together. Their friendship is awesome to watch. Too many times on good shows they always make a sexual love match and then the show is dead. Now I'm so glad that Max and Helen haven't moved to that other relationship on the show.
