- The Range Rover Velar caused a real stir when it arrived in 2017 on account of the way it looked on the outside and felt on the inside. Four years on, Land Rover has given it a spruce up and among the changes is the addition of a plug-in hybrid version.
But is it any good? I find out.

Regarding the suspension the whole cabin wobbles up and down on the p400e the p400 with the air suspension is just amazing.
This excellent review inspired me to purchase a 21-Plate Velar R Dynamic SE P400e Velar. What an amazingly beautiful SUV, responsive, relatively economic, great Tech and the comfort is magnificent. The petrol and electric mode is just brilliant...the best bit is the looks and aesthetics of my used approved PHEV Velar. Great assessment and video..thank you.

I've been looking for a review of one of these for a while, as I think it's what I'm going to order as my family car later in the year, and this review was great, very informative. The one tiny thing I'd have liked to have seen is the boot, as apparently it's a bit smaller due to the batteries, but I'm not sure how much by. Hopefully my local dealer will get one in soon.
Thank you Paul. Sorry not to have shown that - the boot is 46mm higher I seem to remember which equates to about 100 litres less space than the standard Velar. Sounds a lot but in reality not too bad. Let me know what you choose

I can actually get this as a company car now thanks to the plugin-hybrid. A real shame it comes a year and a half too late. Now I have to wait 2 more years before I can get a new car.

Nice review. But dont know why non of these reviews on CZcams shows how to fuel this lovely vehicle. All will show you one thing, how and where to charge the car.

I wonder what acceleration would be after 40 miles and have he battery depleted.
It would have the The same acceleration, battery and electric motor are separate
excellent question.. once the battery is depleted.. the 4 liter engine has to carry the extra weight so i fear much much slower.. from 5,5sec could be more than 8 sec.. a completely different experience. i would be nice to have specifics on this
