No 70+8/2*12-41=70+4*12-41=70+48-41=77 you subtracted 41 from 70 first and that is no the proper order you have to multiply and divide left to right before doing and and subtract.

Can I ask 118- 40. Did you add or did you subtract. If I say add 118 to -40 my answer is 78. If I say subtract the smaller number from the bigger then my answer is 118 -(-40)= 158. I need some clarity on this. Therefore I say there is no subtraction in Pemdas Bodmas
