JB didn’t say nothing happened or that he watched the play again. He said “it ended up being nothing, play on” not that there was not a foul, just that Smart was not injured and move onto the next possession
Well the problem is that Embid trapped his arm and twisted with some leverage and did foul Smart
Smart was well in his right to go for that rebound and no he couldn't easily get out in the half second it was in there. He's lucky embiid didn't twist any further

What Marcus Smart did with a typical basketball play with Joel did was a dirty play not saying he should be suspended but there's a difference. Marcus Smart was not in the wrong.
embiid clearly wrenched his elbow in a dirty way, and marcus is 100% correct that if he did that exact move everyone would be calling for suspension. Embiid has superstar privilege, and smart will never get the benefit of the doubt that he deserves in this league. sad but what can you do

But for some reason the league makes excuses for “ Certain “ players ie Joel Embiid, Draymond Green Udonis Harlem Shaquille O’Neal etc… There’s no read that was not called… Smart grabbing his ankle was the opposite of a Smart reaction to the play…!!!!!💯 Also, Jaylen didn’t slip he was coming to help Smart…!!!

Marcus swung on a fan he’ll fight Embid and JB from Atlanta he’ll sleep Embid. If you can’t chicken wing in boxing it’s definitely dirty in basketball.
Marcus Smart has to be smarter. Him leaving his arm there is a recipe for disaster. He knew he had no chance of getting that ball but still left his arm there. For what reason? Okay, maybe he wasn't just leaving his arm over there. Maybe Joel Embiid was playing dirty too. But he should have let Embiid know that he really didn't want anything besides basketball. And Joel Embiid could have let go off Marcus' arm. That dude could have easily broken Marcus' arm. These payers need to start communicating with their opponents that way nothing can turns in to something. Just my opinion.
I also don't like all thing "playing hangry" thing that sadly some people crave. You can play hard without hating on one another.
Some of us fans want these players to punch one another. Some of want players to hate each other even off the court. So what do we get out of that? All I hear is Michael Jordan and Isiah Thomas don't talk. How's that working out for them?
I think we can be better. The NBA as an organization has to do better. They need to let these player play hard but not hurt each other intentionally. That's not why they are there.
